Squarespace launched its new “Make A Website to Sell Anything” ad commercial that shows all the business possibilities with a Squarespace website.
In the 30-second commercial, people come up with out-of-the-box ideas to kickstart their online business. These include sci-fi-inspired vignettes of Online Gaming Classes, Cryogenic Chambers, Space Simulators and Elevated Laugh Therapy, where they show two men laughing on top of a snowy mountain.
Gui Borchert, Squarespace’s Senior Creative Director, explained that the fresh and innovative idea behind the ad is that people can enjoy and therefore remember it.
He also emphasized the ad’s diverse cast of actors was a move not just to look inclusive, but more importantly highlight how Squarespace’s services are inclusive.
Earlier this year, the website hosting company also launched its profound Super Bowl ad ‘The Singularity’ starring Academy Award-winning Adam Driver, where he obsesses over the idea that Squarespace is a “website that makes websites.”
The two video ads are a direct callback to Squarespace’s brand vision “Everything to sell anything,” which they use for campaigns and product innovations.
