With the NFL Draft coming up, Toyota, as the league's Official Automotive Partner, has launched an exciting new campaign together with the San Francisco 49ers' very own Brock Purdy.
Titled "Purdy Good Advice with Brock Purdy," the spot focuses on the quarterback being a popular "Mr. Irrelevant," a nickname given to the last pick in the NFL Draft every year.
Burdy's career since being labeled as the 47th Mr. Irrelevant in the 2022 NFL Draft has continued in an upward trajectory, increasing his popularity and fan base.
And despite losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2024 Super Bowl, many have credited Purdy for contributing to the 49ers' great season.
Brock Purdy proved why he belongs in the league this year:

This is the backstory behind Toyota's 30-second spot, as the quarterback gives "Purdy Good Advice" to up-and-coming draftees.
"If you're drafted last, don't stress about the name. It'll pass," he says.
Mr. Irrelevant then goes on to share more of his NFL wisdom with viewers, advising them not to slack on their game-day fits and to be wise when it comes to choosing their next car.
"Buy something that lasts, but also stands out," Purdy advises, as he gets into his all-new Toyota Crown Signia, which also gets the approval of one of his devoted fans.
"Here's to starting new journeys," the screen writes, as the spot ends.

Purdy shared his excitement about taking part in the collaboration.
"I have been driving a Toyota since my NFL rookie season, so this NFL Draft ad campaign marks a milestone for me to be in a national ad spot for the brand," he said.
"I'm honored when people tell me that they find the beginning of my NFL journey inspiring, and I'll forever be grateful for being drafted and for the people and organizations that have supported me along the way."
The Red Carpet Content Rollout
Outside of the spot, the automotive giant has planned out several activations to keep the spirit of the NFL alive in time for the Draft.
Toyota has hosted a Red Carpet Content Rollout that celebrates the arrival of new-generation superstars, with 13-year-old reporter and internet personality Jazlyn "Jazzy" Guerra interviewing top Draft prospects.
"For Toyota to sponsor the Red Carpet at the NFL Draft and hand me the mic to carry the show says a lot about their confidence and support in the next generation of movers and shakers," Guerra said.
The interviews were posted as live content under "Jazzy's World TV" channels during the Draft's opening night on Thursday.

Some of her guests include Chicago Bears' Caleb Williams, New England Patriots' Drake Maye, and Arizona Cardinals' Marvin Harrison Jr.
To up the ante, Toyota is also hosting a "passport-style" event during the NFL's fan festival between April 25-27, inviting people to draft new players to their roster with the use of Toyota vehicles.
These include the 2024 Tacoma, 2025 Toyota Crown Signia, 2024 Land Cruiser, the 2025 Camry, and the recently revealed 2025 4Runner.
"Toyota believes in celebrating the next generation of superstars, which is why we're pairing up 24-year-old Brock Purdy with 13-year-old content dynamo Jazzy Guerra in a celebration of reaching your dreams through the NFL Draft," Michael Tripp, Toyota division marketing group VP, said in a press release.
