I'm not positive this is the same company, but am pretty sure. If I'm not mistaken, Avanade bought Azaleos out, who provided Microsoft Exchange services.I interviewed with Azaleos at one time. Recruiter interview, HR interview, 2 in person hour long interviews, tour of the facilities, follow up call with the tech lead, and an email thanking them. NO CALL BACK, no rejection, nothing. They totally ignored me. DIdn't care. Even my recruiter said Azaleos didn't make any contact.2 years later, Christine Novak the HR manager, reached out and said, "I see you interviewed with us before, we have some job openings, are you interested?" REALLY? You completely blew me off before, and now you want to talk to me again? Eff you.Yes I realize another company has bought them out, and I'm sure most of those people are no longer there, but I looked up Christine Novak's profile, and she is still with them.As a final insult, I went back to Microsoft, and just happened to work with someone who used to work for Azaleos, and he had nothing good to say except he was glad to no longer work there. Horrible company.Maybe you don't care about my experience. That's fine. It was years ago. But I would never work for a company who throws away a candidate after making all those attempts. Horrible, terrible companies. If you like them, then work there.

I was recruited by this company for a contract role, and that process--although a bit high pressured--went smoothly enough (recruiter was very nice, but demanded answers and a commitment somewhat urgently, with some oddly probing questions). Progressed to the interview stage, and was told I'd hear back later that day or next.But now, a week later, I've been completely ghosted! No update, no follow up whatsoever (despite me leaving a message after several days, requesting one--only to be ignored). Perplexing, but I suspect that the recruiter likely oversold the client's interest and my chances as a candidate (false promise on his part, but lesson learned on mine).At this level of advanced and specialized roles and salaries for which you are recruiting, it's completely unprofessional to not even have the courtesy to follow up and provide a candidate with feedback, either way. Very disrespectful of my time.

I have been in the medical device business for many years and dealt with many recruiting firms. ALKU is absolutely the worst company I have come across. First, you have multiple ALKU employees cold-calling you at the same time, various calls on my cell phone. I must have 20 of those calls in last 6 months and I blocked them all but they seem to generate new numbers all the time. I told ALKU callers that if there were the last company on this earth offering these services, I would dnot use them and to stop calling my number. So now I get calls, like today, where someone just hangs up, very professional and mature, right?. I guess they proved my point!

I have worked with a lot of recruiters but I have to say that Jessica Bailey has set a new standard for me. She is an outstanding communicator, super personable and so unbelievably efficient/organized.I feel like in all the stress of tech layoffs/job hunting, working with Jessica has been such a relief. In general, I tend to be cautious about engaging with recruiters. When I do receive inquiries from them, I have not typically had impressive experiences. Many recruiters who contact me often appear inexperienced, lacking a personal touch, and frequently fail to carefully review my qualifications and experience in relation to the job description. Some of them do not follow up, and communication can be quite sparse.However, when Via Technical, represented by Justin, approached me regarding a Program Manager position, the encounter was refreshingly different. Justin was a pleasure to work with. He promptly provided me with the job description, asked relevant questions to ensure that my qualifications aligned with the position's requirements, and clarified the initial process. He mentioned that I would be contacted by Natalie, the CEO, who would provide more insight into the client's needs and make sure it was a mutual fit.Natalie proved to be personable and straightforward throughout our interactions. She offered transparency and provided valuable advice and interview tips. It felt like I was conversing with a friend or colleague, and this continued throughout the entire process, including before each interview, where she offered candid feedback.Furthermore, Justin consistently addressed my questions and followed up diligently after each interview. I ultimately received a job offer and was placed successfully. Unfortunately, I had to decline the offer due to another opportunity I received elsewhere.Justin was exceptionally understanding of my decision and assured me that there was no need to apologize. His professionalism and due diligence further earned my respect.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Via Technical. While there are numerous headhunters in the market, choosing wisely is crucial.
