Coffee company Clevr just released a new 30-second Instagram spot that subtly stars the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
Throughout the spot, Clevr CEO and co-founder Hannah Mendoza walks viewers through the company's headquarters, as Markle makes blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearances in the backdrop.
"I wanna give a huge shout-out to our amazing Clevr team here at HQ. Without them, we are nothing," Mendoza talks to her audience, while Markle packs lattes right behind her.
"They've been listening to Britney on loop since 2019," Mendoza comically shares.
Mendoza then introduces the digital team, as they make sure the company website doesn't crash the way it did the previous year. Again, Markle is seen working on her desktop in the background.
As the CEO speaks to the audience, Markle is seen walking past the ops team and attempting to fist bump them, but ultimately failing. Everyone bursts into laughter, as the strange spot closes.
The company's Instagram account posted the video today, captioning it "Damn, you’re keeping us BUSY right now! Had to call in some reinforcements."

While Markle's participation in the ad may seem random, the Suits star has been a stern investor in the coffee company since 2020.
Markle had also used her connections to help Clevr, which had only been operating for a year at the time.
The Instagram spot, along with a short video she posted on her account earlier this year marks the few times in recent memory the Duchess had been public about her partnership with Clevr.
"I’m proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her and I believe in her company," Markle shared with Fortune in 2019.
