Web3 Development Review from Ihor Palteka

We worked with CIDT on building a web3 tax module for our platform. The team created the full backend: blockchain data processing, NFT and DeFi event detection, VAT logic, and reporting. Communication was easy, and we always talked in Slack with regular Zoom calls to check progress. The system works stable and fits well into our product. We had some extra design iterations, but the team handled them quickly. Overall, it was a good and smooth cooperation, and we are happy with the final result.

Working with Consider It Done Technologies has been an outstanding experience. Their team helped us turn the idea of TradeVibe into a fully functional validator and staking automation platform. They managed the entire process - from product architecture and design to backend development and DevOps - with impressive technical precision and attention to detail.

      Blockchain Review from Hanna Korovianska

We partnered with CIDT to integrate a cryptocurrency payment module into a custom eCommerce platform we were developing for one of our clients. Our goal was to add a secure and seamless crypto payment option without disrupting the existing checkout flow. The CIDT team handled everything related to blockchain integration from wallet connections and smart contract setup to documentation and testing. Their work was well-structured, efficient, and fully aligned with our development process. A special mention goes to Ramil, CIDTs CTO, whose technical expertise and leadership were outstanding. He guided our team through the blockchain-specific parts of the project, explained complex concepts in simple terms, and helped ensure that the solution was both reliable and easy to maintain. All milestones were delivered on time, communication was smooth, and the final integration performed flawlessly. Within the first three months after launch, over 3% of transactions were completed via crypto payments, with a higher average order value than traditional methods. Overall, working with CIDT was an excellent experience. Theyre a professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy team, and we look forward to future collaborations.

We needed to quickly expand our dev team to build out a new feature set, and Hivex helped us find and bring on skilled remote developers to make that happen. The devs hit every deadline we set, sometimes even early. If we needed changes or had questions, they were super responsive - usually got back to us within a couple hours.

We had a temporary gap in our technical team due to some transitions, and we needed to keep our development momentum going strong. Hivex provided us with skilled developers who seamlessly integrated into our team. They had the expertise we needed and filled the gap until we made permanent hires. Our collaboration with Hivex made sure our projects kept going without delay, we didn't lose our development momentum, and there wasn't any disruption. It was a huge help during a challenging time.

The worst experience with the company. First they will call you and will ask you to go for 2 hours exam just like a half yearly or annual exam conducted during school time. After that they will ask you to wait for long. The interviewer will come and will ask only about your past company to attain it's strategies to move ahead and then they will ask you to go as we have a negative results regarding you. They will make you feel comfortable as if you will be selected and then the interviewer himself will be unsecured after seeing your profile, aa you are going to be a threat to them. As of now, they are not having any urgent requirements but calling you to waste your precious time only. Prefer not to go for an interview over here.

Experience at Square Boat has been awesome! I've felt super welcome from day one. Even though I'm just an intern, I feel like my input matters and I've had chances to develop skills I didn't anticipate. I'm early in my professional journey, but working at Square Boat has given me a real glimpse of what quality service actually looks like. The dedication to clients is genuinely inspiring.

Frequently Asked Questions About DevOps Consulting

What services do these companies typically provide?

DevOps (Development and Operations) consulting helps organizations improve software delivery and product reliability through a mix of strategy, engineering, and operational support. Common services include:

  • DevOps assessment and strategy: Evaluating current delivery performance, infrastructure, and operating model, and developing a roadmap, governance, and target-state architecture to meet business goals.
  • Technical and platform engineering: Selecting, configuring, and integrating the DevOps toolchain, including the cloud platform, CI/CD, container platforms, and infrastructure automation tools.
  • CI/CD implementation and optimization: Designing and enhancing continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines to increase delivery speed and reduce deployment risk.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Managing infrastructure via version-controlled code for consistent, repeatable, and scalable deployments.
  • Managed DevOps and SRE support: Providing ongoing monitoring and observability, incident response support, and reliability improvements after go-live.

How much do DevOps services cost in the USA?

They typically charge depending on service scope, architecture and infrastructure complexity, number of environments, level of customization, and compliance requirements.

Skill level is another key cost factor, with consultants in the U.S. typically falling into the following rate bands:

  • Junior DevOps consultants bill around $120-$150 per hour. They typically have 1-3 years of experience and a foundational knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
  • Intermediate-level consultants cost around $150-$250 per hour. These DevOps consultants have 3-7 years of experience working with various software and strategies and have a few projects in their portfolio.
  • Senior consultants have an hourly rate of $250 to over $350. With over 7 years of experience, these consultants have a solid reputation in the industry and have worked with large and complex business environments. They can also offer specialized expertise for a specific sector or tech stack.

How long do DevOps solutions typically take?

DevOps solutions can take anywhere between 4 weeks and over 18 months. Timelines depend on business size, infrastructure maturity, security and regulatory requirements, and the scope of deliverables.

Below is an approximate timeline based on project complexity:

  • DevOps pilots (4-6 weeks): Focuses on one application or product team and delivers a minimum viable product (MVP), including a CI/CD pipeline, repeatable environments using IaCs, and basic alerts and monitoring.
  • Mid-sized rollouts (3-6 months): These projects expand to multiple environments (development, stage, and production) and services, including cloud security foundations. It may also include containers/Kubernetes.
  • Enterprise transformation (6-18+ months): These projects implement standardization across teams and systems, including toolchain customization, advanced automation, production-grade observability, and site reliability engineering (SRE) practices. It may also have ongoing optimization services.

What processes do these consulting companies follow?

They follow a custom implementation plan based on a business’s specific needs and goals. It typically involves the following steps:

  1. Assessment and strategy: Auditing infrastructure, operating workflows, and delivery practices, then creating a prioritized roadmap and implementation plan.
  2. Toolchain selection and integration: Choosing and integrating tools for cloud, CI/CD, monitoring/observability, security, and IaC that align with the target architecture.
  3. IaC adoption and environment automation: Treating infrastructure like software by defining environments in version-controlled code to automate provisioning and reduce configuration drift.
  4. CI/CD pipeline implementation: Setting up or refining CI/CD pipelines, including release strategies (e.g., canary release or blue-green deployments) and automated build/test/deploy gates.
  5. Containerization and orchestration: Standardizing application packaging and deployments to reduce environment inconsistency.
  6. Security and compliance implementation: Applying security practices across the CI/CD pipeline and toolchains and producing compliance documentation when required.
  7. Observability and reliability practices: Implementing monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and incident-response workflows to enhance system reliability and recovery.
  8. Knowledge transfer and team enablement: Training users on the DevOps tools, processes, and culture to sustain adoption.
  9. Continuous optimization: Conducting ongoing audits and enhancements to improve system speed, security, reliability, and resilience.
