As part of an international public contest, in which 4por4 was the selected company, CNMC requested a strong image that would contribute to the promotion of true leadership of the CNMC in the different programs and projects developed with United Nations.
So, we developed a typographic logo, which is composed with three stripes of color, that represents the rainbow (referring to the climate) and at the same time the main colors of São Tomé´s flag.
Subsequently, all other media were developed, such as brochures, flyers, roll-ups, interior and exterior signage, billboards, powerpoint and word presentation templates, merchandising applications, etc.

Under the guidance of owner Lord March we worked on developing the brand representation, and produced a range of cohesive brand collateral for the Racecourse. We applied the brand across a wide range of materials, including signage, posters and advertising at meetings, inviting racegoers to consider becoming members. ChallengeAfter five editions of consistently high-quality publications, the American Cancer Society and Vital Strategies sought to create a more readable and engaging experience for users perusing the Atlas. With loads of data and no clear hierarchy of where to look or go next, they wanted the Sixth Edition of the Tobacco Atlas to capitalize on interactive opportunities, have a stronger narrative, a unified visual language, and an easy-to-use digital system both for users and administrators.
SolutionOne of the main challenges with the previous print report was that it overwhelmed the readers with data and the content flow was cluttered. To fix this, we prioritized the creation of a narrative, using an illustrator to draw custom visuals for every chapter to connect the reader to the content. We also trimmed down the amount of data by prioritizing what needed to be in print and what could live online-only, and then designed clear invitations for the reader to find more on the website.
For the interactive version of the Tobacco Atlas, we took these same strong visual and narrative storytelling principles guiding the print design, and leveraged interactive elements and web best practices to create a digital resource. What were static maps in the print report are now dynamic data visualizations, and the illustrative components create a unique experience for the user. Through powerful calls to action (CTAs) and intentional UX design, we worked hard to better anticipate ways to keep the user on the site and engaged. The website is also translated into multiple languages, making it accessible to a broader audience.

DISCOVER
Abbey was running her ecommerce business through a combination of Etsy to sell her products and a personal WordPress blog to share DIY’s and recipes. While it was working well enough for the sale of her enamel pins, she wanted a better way to sell her custom embroidered jackets and bring her blog and storefront together in the same environment. She also wanted a chance to and a website that truly expressed her company. Our goals were to create an easy e-commerce experience for Abbey’s growing business and a website that expressed the tremendous amount of fun and sass that Daily Disco fans have come to love.
DESIGN
Taking inspiration from Daily Disco’s extremely popular Instagram account, as well as the custom embroidery, we pulled together a color palette best described as a “fiesta.” It included a hot pink used in Daily Disco’s new logo, as well as green, aqua blue, yellow, and red.
To capture the bold and sweet nature of Daily Disco, we paired two fonts together: a thick san serif called Proxima Nova and a curly, handwritten font called Quimby Mayoral. We also developed several hand-drawn patterns to be used across the site for texture and interest.
DESIGN MADE FUN
We wanted everything about the shopping process to be fun. This led us to explore a non-traditional grid where products were laid out on cards in a diagonal scrolling pattern down the page. When you hover over a product, it releases what we call “confetti” or little icons and a big, fun word that represents that product.
We also designed custom icons to represent the categories of her blog. With bright colors and a clean illustration style, these added a pop of fun to an otherwise functional piece.

MSLK’s assignment was to drive traffic to Sally Beauty for the brand launch in the spring of 2018, and to educate US consumers that Magic Press Nails offer a salon-quality gel finish with no glue and no nail damage. Our objective was to communicate the playful fun of Magic Press’s high-quality press-on nails, which can comfortably be worn for a variety of occasions and feature high-quality jewels and finishes.

How do you transform a fueling station into a vibrant café experience?





Latin American Energy Company, Axion, set out to do just that. CBX created a new name, brand identity design and stimulating environment. The result, Spot! Café, transformed a retail environment that is generally viewed as purely transactional into a modern, cutting edge destination that emphasizes premium products and services.

The City of Antioch, located in Northern California, was settled before the Gold Rush. In 2018, they decided it was time to rebrand. So they engaged Evviva.ChallengeOne consequence of the 2008 collapse was that the City of Antioch became closely-associated with a collapse in home values. By 2016, the City had turned several important corners. Unfortunately, this the media didn’t notice. Antioch remained a talking point, but the most common media pick-ups were related to crime, blight, homelessness and low-cost housing. Process
The City we met was divided. It was economically split between “well-off” vs. “getting by," geographically split north vs. south, divided by recency, by perspective, by levels of contentment, and even by time spent in the city itself. As a result of all of these divisions, residents were committed to their City but deeply frustrated with the state of affairs. Importantly, we found a strong, positive theme: opportunity was everywhere, and avaliable to all. This insight led us to a new strapline for the City and as a campaign line to drive awareness about what’s best about Antioch: “Opportunity Lives Here.”  The campaign targeted business and lifestyle targets. With integrated programmatic planning, we launched the new brand across a variety of digital and OOH channels.Results
The campaign was a huge success for Antioch:

• Nearly 24 million total impressions were delivered during the initial campaign cycle.


• 51,000 clicks were generated with a .3% click through rate (CTR). 


• The CTR our ads achieved is six times (6x) the industry average.


• The campaign added 40,000 new visitors to the campaign website (www.antiochisopportunity.com)


• Google Analytics showed a bounce rate of 32% to the site. (This is outstanding.)


• Arrivals results indicate 46,524 physical visits to Antioch from people who were exposed to our ads.

The Brand Challenge:Shentel, headquartered in Edinburg, Virginia, is a provider of phone, Internet and cable services to rural communities. Recently, they have made acquisitions of two cable companies in southern Virginia and West Virginia. Research showed that consumers in the acquired markets were very skeptical of Shentel staying long term. There had been a track record of companies entering their market, only to exit very quickly.The Solution:We created a new brand strategy for Shentel that included a Vision Statement, Mission Statement, Positioning Statement and Brand Promise. The Brand Promise was “Making Deeper Connections.” Deeper connections with the customers and deeper connections with the communities that they serve. The expression of the Brand Promise, which is used in marketing communications, is “Always Connected to You.”As a “symbol of re-evaluation,” we contemporized the brand logo.The new logo conveys energy and connectivity via the multi-colored lines moving in tandem (representing Shentel, the communities and the customers). The orange and gold colors reinforce the genuine and reliable brandpersonality traits. The slate blue represents strength of the brand.
