Affogato – a must-visit coffee and gelato outlet located on 17th Road in Khar West, Mumbai (near Bandra).It looks tiny and unassuming from the roadside, but once you step inside, the stunning interior and inviting aroma of fresh coffee and gelato welcome you. The space feels like it was carved out of a smooth, swirling rock or cave — with soft curves, textured beige micro-concrete walls, ceiling, and floors inspired by gelato swirls. It's truly magical and artistic!They offer two seating options: outdoor (without AC) and a cozy indoor AC room. The menu has a great variety of cakes, pastries, coffees, and, of course, their signature affogatos (espresso over gelato).I tried their Cappuccino and Pain au Chocolat — both were excellent! The cappuccino came in a stylish glass cup, and the croissant was flaky, buttery, and perfectly chocolate-filled. Service was friendly and attentive.One small downside: there's no strong AC blower at the entrance, so a few mosquitoes can be a minor nuisance (typical Mumbai evening issue in humid weather).Overall, the experience was fantastic — highly recommended for any coffee or gelato lover in the city! ☕🍦✨ "

Even on a weekend, it wasn’t crowded, making it a perfect spot for some quiet time.Seating is available both indoors and outdoors — though slightly limited and snug. I tried the avocado chicken, which came in a generous portion for the price and delivered beautifully on flavor. The iced mocha was made to perfection, and its pricing is pleasantly lower than most popular cafés around.They also serve excellent gelatos, including sugar-free options sweetened with monk fruit — a thoughtful touch. Definitely planning to return to try those and the tempting quiche next time! "

Tried Affogato in Khar for the first time and I must say it was an absolute delight. I ordered the hazelnut affogato and it was heavenly. We happened to be the last ones to place our order and despite the system being shut, when we expressed interest in trying the coffee gelato, Amit went out of his way to let us sample it in a small container. It was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly made our evening more special.While everything we tried was good, the jamun sorbet truly stood out. It was refreshing, packed with flavor, and something I would go back for without a second thought.Overall, Affogato has quickly become a new favorite.
