Unprofessional and Disorganized Interview Process at Frag GamesMy interview experience with Frag Games was very disappointing. Although the company might have strong potential, the hiring process is poorly handled and lacks professionalism at multiple levels.The interviewers themselves often don't seem to fully understand the questions they are asking. In some cases, they even presented incorrect or unclear questions and were unable to explain or solve them when challenged. This reflects a serious lack of preparation and technical depth from the people conducting the interviews.Rather than using practical tasks or real-world scenarios, their interview process relies on poorly framed coding questions that often lack clarity or relevance. When I tried to clarify or explain my answers, it became clear the interviewers themselves didn’t fully understand what they were asking. Despite making valid points and explaining my reasoning multiple times, they seemed more interested in proving themselves right than actually evaluating skill or logic. This kind of interview procedure is not only ineffective but also unprofessional.Even after progressing through multiple rounds and clearing all of them, I was ultimately rejected without any clear explanation. Despite investing time and effort, there was no constructive feedback or reasoning provided. HR did not respond to follow-ups or even answer phone calls, which shows a lack of basic communication and respect for candidates.It seems like many candidates go through the same frustrating process, wasting hours of time only to face vague and inconsistent evaluation criteria. There appears to be no structured or fair procedure behind their hiring decisions.I hope Frag Games leadership, especially the CEO, takes a serious look at what is going wrong within their hiring process. **Very Poor Assessment**I am a game developer with more than 7 years of experience in the local and international markets, working on platforms like PC (Steam), Android/iOS, web, and blockchain games.I applied and received a call for a technical interview. On the day of the interview, I was greeted by the interviewer (who didn't show any courtesy to briefly introduce himself).We started with basic questions like how I would rate my skills, etc. Then he began asking conventional interview questions normally asked of a fresh candidate with no experience in game development, such as how to reverse numbers, find loops in linked lists, and check for identical binary trees.At the very start, I told the interviewer that I knew these concepts and could provide the logic, but he insisted that I should write the code for these questions on a piece of paper. I did to some extent, providing the logic, regardless of syntax.Additionally, the interviewer kept leaving for 5-10 minutes after giving me a question, clearly showing lack of interest.So, around 1.5 hours passed, and I was waiting for the moment when we would get into the details of core game development—discussing my skills, portfolio (which I had shared with my CV), and the technologies I’ve worked on. But that moment never came. For the last question he gave me, he left again, and after 25-30 minutes of waiting, I was greeted by HR, who informed me that my technical interview was concluded. I was like, "What? Seriously?"I asked HR if the interviewer knew I was an experienced game developer, because I’m pretty sure he didn’t even look at my CV. Otherwise, he would have asked questions based on it.Not a single question was asked about game development, my skills, or my experience.I applied because I had heard a lot about this company from IDGA, but I am greatly disappointed by the way I was treated.This place might be good for beginners, but definitely *NOT* a good fit for seniors.
