I went to The Sound Pipe Media to help me with my new apps. At the beginning, I had no idea what I was doing but The Sound Pipe Media helped me through the whole process and made me feel at ease. Over-promised, under delivered: I started a project with the Sound Pipe Media back in September which was to be completed within 6 months. I thought this goal was a bit aggressive considering the overall complexity of what i was trying to accomplish but they made the claim. The wireframe was supposed to be completed within 7-10 days which is reasonable compared to other companies I've spoken with. It turned out being 2 months before the wireframe was completed and I was blamed for the delay. This wasn't a 2 months of the wireframe was complete and I kept asking for it to be changed, it was 2 months of gradually completing pieces that didn't allow me to see full picture of how app was working (and if i didn't complain, they wouldn't of even connected the screens) they were all on power-point with no explanation of how the screen functioned. The project manager did absolutely nothing the whole time and i essentially managed the project myself. All of the individuals that they had working on my project were contractors aka no consistency of how things are done across projects. The only one who had remotely any idea about how my project should work was Taj but he was so far removed he didn't realize the disaster brewing until it was too late. When he attempted to come up with a solution but at this point he actually realized that he bit off more than he could chew with the project and attempted to identify areas where he could charge me more. I was warned about this ahead of time which is why i was very detailed with what i wanted in my wireframe so this WOULD NOT HAPPEN. nonetheless.. it happened. There were resources from india, columbia, russia, etc. all shuffled onto my team and didn't seem like anybody knew each other. Taj kept referencing the contract so it was clear that he covered his basis for bringing in contractors for "specialize" items. wireframe is not specialized.... I just ended the contract with the sound pipe media group and it ended very sourly and rudely. Removed all individuals from the group and made a rude exiting comment before leaving the group himself. Also, communication was horrible, we utilized free software (which would make sense for cost savings) but limited a lot of things. Overall, i'm unhappy that we started something and i paid significantly more than i should have for simply receiving a wireframe. All these statements can be backed up by supporting evidence via whatsApp messages, and other communications of my disapproval. I can only speak for my experience and not the experience of others but i will say I will not be referring business to this company ever. "
