theITSupportCenter Reviews
Reviews from Google Maps are available on this profile.
I was ghosted in the middle of the application process. Companies have no clue how terrible it looks when they don't inform potential candidates that they weren't selected for a position. I don't understand what's so difficult about that. "Joe Jackimczuk's Review Sourced from Google
I’ve been here for 4 1/2 months and it has been great here. The leadership team gives you all the tools you need to be successful and works with you from day 1 training and everyday after that. Glad to be apart of the team here!! "Brandon Johnson's Review Sourced from Google
"I was set up for an interview with a company called theITSupportCenter, and using Calendly, I received what looked like a legitimate calendar invite. The only thing that seemed suspicious was the two-hour time slot—seriously, people looking for jobs don’t want to deal with that. Regardless, I waited for the interview. When the call came, it was from an automated system that asked me to either press 1 to leave a voicemail or stay on the line. I stayed on hold, thinking it was just part of their process, even though it felt odd. Suddenly, the system disconnected me.I called the number back, and while I was dialing, I received a strange text from an unknown number asking if it was me. When I tried calling the number in the text, I got no reply. Then, when I called the original number again, it was a Google Voice number, and the message said the subscriber wasn’t available, so I left a voicemail. Shortly after, I got an email saying the appointment was canceled. What a complete waste of time! This company clearly uses the Google ecosystem for everything, and their process felt like a total joke. It's like they’re running a ‘turn and burn’ operation with shady practices. Be warned—this is not how people looking for jobs deserve to be treated." "Chris's Review Sourced from Google
I wish I could give them zero stars. I scheduled two interviews with them, and both times, they were late. Their excuse? "High demand" for jobs made punctuality impossible. That’s the first of many red flags. The interviews were rushed, dismissive, and it felt like they couldn’t care less. They’re always hiring because people are constantly quitting. It’s a revolving door of misery. And don’t be fooled by their “unique compensation model.” That’s code for paying you as little as legally possible and making sure you fight for every cent beyond that. When I told the interviewer I had researched the company, the panic in their voice was unmistakable. They immediately rushed me off the phone, clearly realizing I had seen through their facade. It became obvious they don’t want anyone who’s actually done their homework. Here’s the kicker: most of the positive reviews you see on Google, Glassdoor, and Indeed? They’re written by current employees under management’s direction. This company manufactures fake reviews to drown out the genuine complaints. They’ll watch you like a hawk, record you, and exploit every loophole they can to drain you dry.Trust the 1-star reviews. The high turnover rate, mass hiring, and blatantly shady compensation tactics are all you need to know. This company is a sinking ship. Avoid it at all costs, unless you’re looking for a world of stress and zero personal growth. "eric ableton's Review Sourced from Google
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I, thankfully, didn't have to endure any time there, but the interview process is bad enough that I'm writing one of the only reviews I've ever felt the need to write. I urge you to consider the poor reviews before applying. If it doesn't feel right, you should probably heed that feeling.Who wants to work for a place that doesn't pay you for the first 2 weeks of 'training'? I've been doing IT support for about 10 years, so you're not teaching me much, aside from your in-house processes and procedures. In fact, you could just show me the Knowledge articles instead. I've never heard of being unpaid for the first 2 weeks at a job. During the second interview, when this was brought up, I questioned if this was legal. The interviewer didn't have a good answer, just stating it is legal and awkwardly ending the interview shortly after my question, since he clearly didn't have a good answer for me....they just want you to go along with it. Well, it may be 'legal' through some garbage loophole, but it sure doesn't bode well for a good future. Furthermore, why work for a place that doesn't want you to ask questions? I am confident they were going to offer me the job until I asked if it was legal for them to not pay people for 2 weeks of work; thankfully, they didn't offer it to me after my question, but is that somewhere you want to work? Not only that, when the pay rate was discussed the interviewer literally pulled up a chart with 3 different samples of how you could work a different number of hours and end up with different pay based on other variables. While it may end up being a good model, I'm not used to this kind of pay for this type of work. Combined with the other issues, this is just another red flag to me.Let me also mention the interview process was tedious and drawn out. I wasted over 2 hours of my life in the first interview, the testing phase (cognitive test and IT quiz), and a second interview. Mind you, my past experiences should have opted me out of this testing. This position would have been a step down from my prior experiences. The icing on the cake, for me, was that they want you to have a web cam on yourself during your entire work schedule. I didn't want this Orwellian facet of a job invading my home. I've worked at much larger corporations that didn't even use this tactic. What is the point of working from home if I have to be monitored as such? Oh, so I have to dress up to work from home? Nope, that is supposed to be a perk of working from home.If you're going to apply for this place, I suggest you already have a job and keep working it for 2 weeks because you're likely not getting paid for a month, if you get paid at all (the 2 weeks of 'training' could result in them just dropping you without ever having to pay you for your time). Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor. "Printz ofPeepz's Review Sourced from Google
