Wowwee Design

I hired Darragh and Wowwee Design a year ago. He told me in a written message that he can illustrate characters for a children's book. He agreed in the written message that he could meet requirement for characters that show a range of movement and facial expressions. He created a series of characters which turned out to be AI generated. I didn't realise until I posted them on my business socials and got lots of 'AI slop' comments. Darragh saw this as he manages my website. He brushed off saying 'people like different types of art.' I didn't know what to do. Some of the characters on the website are not the animals stated. Check out my tradie roo website (he is showcasing his work on my brand on his own website). There is a character on there that is supposed to be a tiger and is labelled by him as a tiger but clearly isn't a tiger. The same goes for the tawny frogmouth, which is some kind of barn owl in his AI generated 'illustration.' I've asked him several times over the last year to fix this, but he continues to leave it up live on my website, which he has full control of. He has also taken it upon himself to design t-shirts with spelling mistakes and odd language that I never asked for and don't want. He is demanding payment for this and for a book and toy that is unusable.When the book was printed at first, I was really excited as it's my first book. I noticed 3 versions of the main character in the book and 2 different versions of the other characters. The characters are expressionless and rigid. The book is based on a construction site, but the background is an empty field. I asked him, can you add a building, or a vehicle? He said it would take too long and I can't have a vehicle in the picture if it's not in the story.I've paid Darragh $25k but he has never once sent me a file for any of his work. Now he's holding my website hostage with AI images that I don't want. Had to pay for illustrations to be redone by an illustrator. "
