Tramaine Wilkinson's Review Sourced from Google
I initially left a positive review because Karam did a good job building my website. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the company because of what happened afterward. From the beginning, I made it clear that I wanted control of my own website and did not want to remain dependent on the his company for hosting or future edits, which appears to be their preferred setup. I requested my website code and was hosting the site under accounts in my own name.Later, when I decided to make some minor wording changes myself instead of paying his quoted $550 for additional work, I discovered that my live website had been switched to run from Karam’s code account rather than mine. The code Karam had previously given me was no longer updated to match the live site. Karam had access to my code account to make changes, but those changes were instead being made elsewhere without my knowledge. When I asked for the current code for the website I had already paid for, I was told I would only receive the updated version after paying the $550 for additional work that I had only requested a quote for and had not paid for or intended to move forward with. I was told that requesting the quote counted as committing to the work and that they had already started making changes, which would now be reflected in the current code.My experience is that they can build you a very good website, but afterward there seems to be an effort to keep you dependent on them for future changes and high subsequent payments.Because of that, I am moving on to another developer.
