Mobile App Development Review from Angie Tromley-Morales, PMP

We hired Empat to design and build the MVP of House Caddy, a household management app that keeps receipts, warranties, manuals, and repair history in one place, with reminders for expiring warranties and maintenance. The product also helps homeowners prepare a full digital home history for future property transfers.Empat delivered end-to-end work: discovery, UX/UI design, Flutter mobile development, and a Python backend. They implemented a clear flow where users first create home appliances/systems and then attach documents and repairs to each item.A major highlight was Empats AI expertise. AI features simplify the entire user journey by auto-filling appliance details from photos/docs/links, assisting with utility provider setup, and importing contacts to speed up adding contractors. This reduced manual input and made onboarding fast and intuitive.Communication was excellent, with proactive brainstorming, clear sprint updates, and on-time delivery. The MVP is market-ready, early feedback is very positive, and Empat proved to be a reliable, product-driven partner with strong mobile, backend, and AI capabilities.

wdi took the vision we had and turned it into something even better. They built this incredibly detailed app that lets users filter hotels based on things like airport transfers, car services, or other specific amenities. Travelers can also quickly spot deals or limited-time offers with just a glance. One of the coolest parts is how the app keeps guests updated when theyre checked into a hotel - whether it's on-site events or nearby activities, theyll get notifications straight to their phone. The feedback system they added is a game-changer. Guests can send questions or share thoughts right from their rooms, and they get notified the moment theres a response.

We had many very clear outcomes and timelines based on our needs that were identified before the project began. They provided regular updates and progress reports via email and virtual meetings throughout the project. Typically in two-week sprints.
