  We've used Good Code in the past and had good satisfaction with the work. In this project, unfortunately we had a bad experience.The situation:1. We had a front end project that we wanted to get done externally because our internal devs were focused on other projects2. The project was fully taped out, high fidelity designs were complete, and the back end was finished prior3. GoodCode quoted 60 hours to complete the work, terms were agreed to and the project was scheduled4. The developer who was assigned was a new hire to GoodCode which gave some pause, but we had good experiences prior so we assumed it would be the same5. There were no updates sent to us as the project progressed6. Project went over the 60 hours with no notice until right before delivery that it exceeded the amount by 20+ hours7. The developer opened a 5,156 line PR with our team for delivery8. When we asked to break up the PR for easier review, was told we would have to pay for the hours to do so9. We refused to pay more given the project had already significantly exceeded the estimateWe tried to appeal that this service was unacceptable given how much we were paying per hour for Good Code expertise. They refused.While they were responsive and within a reasonable time frame of delivery, I was very disappointed in how this project turned out.
