- Project Brief: Design a video game app concept for in-flight entertainment that combines cinematic game visuals, intuitive content discovery, and a cohesive interface to create an immersive, premium passenger experience.
A video game app can pull players in fast when its interface looks like a screen they already know from the back of an airplane seat. ZeroSixty set Infinite Skies inside a premium in-flight entertainment system, so the menus a passenger taps through become part of the game.
The Today’s Flight screen tracks a supersonic jet from LAX to Honolulu across a glowing 3D globe. Time now, time at destination, and heading sit in clean rows below, so the fiction reads like a real trip.
An Entertainment hub sorts content into four large tiles for Everything, Movies, Music, and Games. Space films like The Martian and Life fill a poster carousel, each priced at 250 points against a balance pinned to the top of the screen.
Story beats arrive as calls and chats, like a video call from a faceted, red-eyed figure labeled Boss. Subtitles and a contact list with a stylist, trainer, and manager play out in the same frosted-glass panels that float over the teal cabin backdrop.
