- Project Brief: Create collectible packaging for Disney Villains Boo Buckets Happy Meal, featuring five villain-inspired bucket designs, themed lids, and character stickers that bring a playful Halloween twist to McDonald’s Happy Meal experience.
Food and beverage packaging becomes a collectible when kids want the container as much as the meal. McDonald's Boo Buckets return this Halloween with five Disney villains: Jafar, Ursula, Scar, Cruella, and Maleficent.
Each bucket takes its color from the villain it features, like Ursula's purple or Maleficent's green. That makes the set easy to tell apart at the counter and fun to line up on a shelf at home.
The artwork crops each face down to a sly pair of eyes peeking out from a black band. Small details around them reward true fans, like Ursula's tentacles curling up the sides or flames flickering behind Scar.
A villain-inspired lid and a sheet of stickers come with every bucket, so you can keep decorating after the meal is gone. With a limited run starting Oct. 20, collecting all five gives fans a good reason to come back.
