- Project Brief: Design limited-edition packaging that transforms McDonald's iconic fries-and-milkshake pairing into a portable, shareable experience inspired by a fan-favorite ritual.
Food and beverage packaging works best when it formalizes something people already do. McDonald's "Shake n' Serve" box turns the fry-dipping ritual into its own portable format.
The structure does the real work. A single carrier holds the milkshake cup and fries side by side, so the dip-and-eat habit no longer needs two hands and a spare table.
The design plays to the Wimbledon setting. Soft pink and grass green with the Golden Arches nods to strawberries and the championship, dressing a fast-food box in the palette of a tennis lawn.
The details lean into shareability. The "Shake n' Serve" wordmark repeats on the panel and handle, and the whole pack is built to be carried and photographed, which is the point for a one-day drop.
