  • Project Brief: Create an entertainment video announcing The LEGO Group’s Daft Punk collaboration through rhythmic editing, high-contrast visuals, and minimalist storytelling inspired by the duo’s iconic Alive 2007 stage aesthetic.

An entertainment teaser can build fan excitement before a single product shot appears. The LEGO Group and French electronic duo Daft Punk confirm their partnership in DAFT PUNK Has Entered the LEGO Universe, which hints at a set based on the Alive 2007 pyramid stage.

Every frame glows in deep red, with neon lines racing down a tunnel whose ceiling is built from stacked bricks. That high-contrast lighting nods to the Alive 2007 light show while keeping the studs and edges of LEGO in plain view.

Two minifigures wear the duo’s signature helmets, one with a slim visor and side discs and the other a smooth rounded dome. Glowing orange piping traces their black jackets, and the Daft Punk script logo runs across each back.

A repeating “Heat” cue drives the 49-second edit, with each beat landing on a new cut. The final shot places the pair in front of a giant neon outline of a single brick, so the reveal confirms the news while saving the full set for later.
