The website for Aavya Indian Cuisine restaurant was designed and developed by Netilly. The colorful splendor of Indian dishes is immediately on display, as several hi-res, professionally shot food photos – set against the dark table, for better effect – provide the appetizing intro to the user journey.
Scrolling down, the alternating black and white backgrounds with contrasting sans-serif font complement more mouthwatering images, all arranged in different areas of the screen. The CTAs retain the simplicity of the website and are merely a larger font in gold color.
The interactive food menu makes good use of space and loads different meals on the same page with consistent visual style and impact. The obligatory “Order Online” button is present in the main menu and the call-to-action is at the very bottom of the page.
The menu navigation isn’t sticky but uses large fonts and enough links to provide an easy user journey that doesn’t confuse and overwhelm.
