- Project Brief: Create a website that serves as the central digital platform for Uruguay’s football community.
A sports website for a national football association usually flattens men's, women's and youth football into a single news stream. I2ES splits AUF's content by division and gender first, with Selections, Championships, and Documents dropdowns that let a futsal fan and a senior team supporter take entirely different routes through the same site.
The homepage runs a 50/50 split-screen hero pairing a static squad announcement with a cinematic team shot. Treating each campaign as a magazine spread rather than a news teaser keeps the federation's editorial voice visible above the fixture data.
Performance choices show in how the heavier content sits behind tabs. The Second Professional AUF page combines a paginated fixture carousel with a live standings table side-by-side, so users pull only the matchday they need instead of loading every result at once.
Motion stays restrained. Dropdown nav, tab switching between News, Fixture and Scorers, and a Matchday arrow stepper handle the interaction, which lets the site carry AUF TV, AUF Store, accreditations, and five social handles in the header without competing with the editorial layout.
