While the first impression of the website is that of its plentiful white space (adding to its clean, minimal design), its primary appeal lies in combining restrained motion effects, smooth transitions with a heavily saturated, albeit on-brand, yellow hue.
Alternating blocks of amber and white help emphasize certain pieces of content. For example, client logos and testimonials stand out quite clearly on a white background when framed by color accents.
The star of the homepage is undoubtedly the full-screen showreel of the studio’s (mobile-first) portfolio, expertly integrated into the overall design. Even before users click on the play button, the website starts “playing” scribble, rearranging the word(s): YOUR, OUR and USER above the tagline “Experience Matters” to clearly and playfully communicate the brand’s mission – It's all about the experience.
Scrolling down, its economical use of space and messaging becomes apparent. With no more content than necessary, UXpert's website breathes freely, without the shackles of excessive visual or written content.
