Aaron Summers's Review Sourced from Google
This is a terrible company and certainly does not care about it's customers or helping brands. I called to speak with a representative of the company and without even talking with me about my needs, they reply by saying "we are not interested in working with you" and then hung up. It was very unprofessional and just shows how much they value the people that are paying their bills. I would not ever recommend reaching out to this company or consider using them in any capacity.- in response to your company’s reply: since I cannot reply to your response. I will add to my original review. The fact that you want to try and play it off as if I called the wrong number is almost as comical as you guys having someone go leave a fake positive review after I left a negative review about your company. You’ve never received a single review on your company for the entirety of you being in business and then somehow one hour after I left a negative review you magically have someone leave a positive review try and refute what I said. I will attach a photo of my outgoing call to the number on your website showing I did indeed call and talk to one of your representatives who is out collecting any data on what we were hoping to hire you for, tell me they are not interested in working with our company.

Promobile is amazing to work with! Their marketing agency offers so many options and capabilities from Food trucks and Glass Trucks, to customized pop up activations. They truly do it all. We've had the pleasure of working with Anthony who is always so accommodating with our project vision. We done over 8 activations with Promobile and the results always exceeded our expectations. The service team continues to go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. We definitely look forward to bringing more activations to life with this amazing team!

This was Kettle & Fire's first foray into experiential marketing, literally our first activation ever. The Promobile team was an incredible partner throughout the entire process. It is hard to even call them an 'agency' as they operated more like an extension of our marketing team. The biggest thing for us was having the confidence that 'it was going to get done, one way or another'. They had a 'yes and' attitude the whole time which is hard to put a price on.

New York City Direct Marketing Company Hiring Guide
Why should I hire a direct marketing agency near me?
Hiring a direct marketing agency near you provides many benefits. New York agencies offer deep industry expertise, access to the best talent in the region, and strong local connections. Their understanding of local markets and expertise in crafting customized marketing campaigns can help businesses connect better with customers and achieve better returns. Established relationships with local vendors and key industry players allow local agencies to operate more efficiently and help your business reduce costs.
Some of the specific advantages local direct marketing companies can provide include:
Deep industry expertise New York direct marketing agencies work with many clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. This exposure gives them a deep understanding of the local industries, customer behavior, and market trends. For example, if your store targets art collectors, a direct marketing agency can craft campaigns, especially for local buyers who visit art shows and exhibitions within New York’s art communities.
Major talent hub As a global hub for marketing and advertising, New York attracts top talent. In contrast, its direct marketing agencies have highly experienced professionals in various direct marketing strategies and channels.
Local network advantage Local direct marketing agencies have established relationships with local printers, mailing houses, and vendors, which leads to improved efficiency and cost savings. They also have connections with various media outlets that can facilitate advertising placements.
Personalized attention A direct marketing agency near you allows face-to-face meetings to discuss strategies and analyze performance. It also allows your company to quickly optimize campaigns to take advantage of local market changes.
Community involvement A local agency also tends to have an established reputation within the community, lending credibility to your business. For example, if you want to attract more customers looking for designer clothing, a New York direct marketing agency might have connections to fashion shows in SoHo or other local initiatives to help boost your brand.
Cost efficiency Working with a direct marketing agency near you can eliminate the need for costly travel, lodging, and logistical expenses associated with onboarding, training, and meeting with remote teams. It may also spare you the cost and hassle of acclimatizing to business with agencies outside the state or country.
Success story
Our research team has highlighted a case study from Promobile, a NY-based agency, that shows its direct marketing campaign for a major cosmetic brand. The study demonstrates how its local expertise helped boost the brand’s visibility within the city.
Challenge: Bobbi Brown wanted to generate awareness of its product line. The campaign had to highlight the company’s diverse makeup range that matches a wide range of skin tones.
Solution: Promobile set up a full-customized promotional box truck around a major shopping area in Manhattan. A team of designers, stylists, and brand ambassadors offered passersby a glow-up using color palettes that matched their skin tone. Guests were also encouraged to write messages on body positivity in and around the truck and were gifted with branded items.
Results: Promobile distributed more than 2,000 makeup products and kits to 1,000+ guests during the promotion. The campaign's messaging, which focused on the positive makeup experience provided by Bobbi Brown’s products, also generated more than 7,500 impressions online.

What should I look for in a New York direct marketing agency?
When choosing a direct marketing agency in New York, look for a proven track record of results within the locale. Your agency should have extensive direct marketing expertise, maintain strong local connections, and offer services tailored to New York's unique customer demographics.
Here are some specific factors you should consider when hiring a direct marketing agency in New York:
Proven track record in New York The direct marketing agency should have a verifiable record of results across New York. Ask for case studies and references from past clients, particularly those from the same industry or those who target your audience. To promote designer footwear, for example, consider agencies with successful projects with designers and retailers in midtown and lower Manhattan.
Direct marketing expertise Look for agencies that have extensive experience in direct marketing. They should be current with industry methodologies, tools, and best practices. Industry-specific awards and certifications, such as the Direct Selling Compliance Professional Certificate and the DMA Awards, are a plus.
Local connections The agency should also have an established network of vendors, distributors, and other key industry stakeholders. For instance, if you intend to have billboards that promote your business in Times Square, look for an agency with connections to sign holders within that area. On the other hand, if you want to take a direct mail approach, an agency already partnered with printers and distributors would make your campaigns more efficient.
Specialized services for the NY market New York has a highly diverse and complex market ecosystem that includes finance, real estate, retail, healthcare, and other industries. Your agency should be able to effectively customize its marketing strategies and processes to match your niche's and its customers' demands. This includes providing personalized messaging or targeting highly localized “near me” searches such as “Baseball caps in Flushing,” for example.
Knowledge of local regulations New York also has its own distinct set of regulations that marketing agencies should follow, including the New York City Consumer Protection Law, the False Advertising Law, the SHIELD (Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security) Act, and the Child Data Protection Act (CDPA). Your agency should be familiar with and equipped to comply with these local and federal regulations.

Lack of transparency An agency that isn’t transparent about costs or is vague and unresponsive to your inquiries can lead to unexpected problems such as cost overruns or compliance failures.
High-pressure sales tactics Agencies that pressure customers into purchasing might do more harm than good to your company’s standing and ward off new business.
