I had a disappointing experience at my previous company due to pervasive office politics. Long-standing employees (2-3 years) were consistently overlooked for awards, while newer employees, who had neither completed projects nor brought in clients, received multiple awards. The Business Development team, in particular, failed to secure any new projects. When it's time for increments, they make various excuses, and even if you perform perfectly, they claim there is no budget. This environment fosters favoritism and demotivates hardworking staff. If you care even 1% about your career, never join this company.
