Pro Web and SEO earned my respect. The mark of a good company is not that it does everything perfectly, for companies are comprised of humans and as humans, each one of us, is inherently fallible. The mark of a good company is that when something goes wrong, and it will in companies big and small, the company holds itself accountable and rectifies it. Today I watched that happen at Pro Web and SEO. I could just write that this company provided me with an exquisitely designed business card and postcard. It did. However, I worked in the advertising industry for decades and know that other companies can design beautiful marketing materials. What I think is far more important is that Pro Web and SEO showed integrity today along with their high-end design talent. Integrity in a company is not so easy to come by today when profit often trumps principles. When Pro Web and SEO learned that a remote designer they had hired failed to complete the work I had paid him to do, they called me to let me know that the designer was no longer with the company. They promised to complete the work the previous designer had failed to complete and do whatever it took to satisfy me. And they lived up to their word, immediately. They did a beautiful job and they earned my trust. Trustworthiness is another characteristic in short supply today. So, while there are lots of talented designers, I found a design company with integrity and talent - one I can trust. That is worth a lot.

Unlike similar corporate social activities I've attended... Staff put zero effort into welcoming/ acclimatising the groups, explaining the activities/ supervising, fostering competition, giving hints for improvement... An hour spent watching 20 colleagues (myself included) repeatedly failing to hit a baseball was an incredibly dull way to spend an evening.

We had such a lovely experience at Moonshot in Shepherd’s Bush. The service was genuinely excellent and a special thanks to Vani and Ben, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were particularly great with the kids, chatting with them kindly and even giving them a lolly to take home, which made their day! The milkshakes were delicious and we loved ending our visit on the arcade games. It’s rare to find somewhere with both great products and such attentive, friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!

We hired soul pepper to build our agency website a few years back. Their team didn’t deliver in the early stages of the process, man-splained their shortcomings, passed us around to different employees and refused to return the $10k deposit. We paid $10k, they did a few hours of work and we didn’t receive anything in return. I’ve worked with dozens of developers to build out our designs for hundreds of websites and this is the only bad experience we’ve had.
