Wezom is an enterprise software development company with more than 275 specialists. We brought RGray in for startup marketing and growth marketing for a FinTech SaaS platform we had built for a client, an early stage startup with a finished product and almost no market presence. RGray started with their startup marketing foundation: market and competitor research, positioning and messaging, and a growth strategy built on three prioritized hypotheses, each with its own funnel and success metrics. They then implemented the channels: SEO, GEO for visibility inside AI search and AI assistants, PR and digital media, and paid user acquisition to test the funnels fast. Analytics and attribution were in place from the start.They also built AI into the daily marketing work: a custom multi agent system using Claude, Grok, Perplexity and Gemini for research, content production and localization, handed over with workflows, prompts and checklists. Two of the three hypotheses proved out, so we elaborated those two and their funnels. CAC started at $31 and fell to $16 by the end of the test campaign, below the industry average. The campaign brought around 2,500 activated users, which boosted revenue and gave us real data for funnel, user and product analysis. The client finished with a working acquisition system and the documentation to run it, not a set of campaigns. Project management was on time and on budget: weekly calls, a shared board with owners and deadlines, monthly reporting against the strategy metrics, same day answers. When our client's roadmap moved, they resequenced the plan in days. Most impressive: they think like product owners, not like a service agency, and they challenged our ICP and pricing assumptions correctly. One improvement: the early reports were denser than we needed, and they added an executive summary once we asked.

Caution Advised - Unsatisfactory Experience with Concetto LabsAs a business owner at the start-up phase, choosing the right partners is critical. Unfortunately, my experience with Concetto Labs was challenging and was far inferior my expectations.Platform Expertise: The primary issue was the mismatch between their purported expertise and the actual skill set provided. I was promised Squarespace experts, but the team assigned to my project seemed unfamiliar with the platform. This led to a significant portion of the billed hours being allocated to research and development tasks that a Squarespace-proficient team might have completed much more efficiently.Design Quality: Additionally, the quality of the design work delivered was below par. I found myself needing to step in and handle the majority of the design work, which was unexpected and time-consuming.Communication Breakdown: There were also communication issues, particularly with the VP of Sales, who often seemed unaware of our previous email exchanges. This resulted in repetitive conversations and a general feeling of inefficiency.Billing Concerns: My greatest concern was with the billing structure. I was charged based on hours spent, which, given the lack of Squarespace expertise, led to unnecessary costs for my business without delivering the expected results.Advice to Potential Clients: For those considering Concetto Labs, I recommend requesting detailed case studies of their work, particularly in your specific field. Its also crucial to communicate your expectations clearly to avoid similar situations.Conclusion: In summary, while I believe Concetto Labs might have the potential for good work, my experience was far from satisfactory. It involved minimal output for maximal time investment and financial expenditure, which was especially challenging during my business's start-up phase. It was a costly enterprise engaging their services and I would never recommend their services.
