We are very happy with DesignX. Our website is far better than what we had earlier. The site layout is cleaner and direct. There are no more broken processes. The number of users who dropped off from the purchase journey is reduced. DesignX was calm and patient throughout the workflow. The backend development work only starts upon sign off. This saves the company development cost.

We started DesignX off with a small trial project based on one discrete component of our application to get their thoughts on how they would redesign and rearchitect it. The previous version of the app had a poor UI and wasn't intuitive. We brought on DesignX a few years ago and they started with some initial wireframes for some concepts. One of the main reasons we wanted them to do this assessment was to validate the direction we were taking. Their work helped us with executive management, making sure they were supportive of what we were trying to do. Were very happy with the work DesignX did.They worked to validate one small part of our migration to a new web presence. We were developing a website, which is a small piece of our process to build a web presence. The team directed an evaluation of our platform and gave us recommendations to put us on the right track.First, we reviewed their approach to the tests and their timetable. We developed a heuristic evaluation and a user interview. For the heuristic portion, their team created a report based on the evaluation and noted three areas for improvement. We had a person on site who was the focal point for the user testing work. Our team selected users based on our target segments and they supplied some of their non-expert users. Their team facilitated users through the process detailed in the proposal.Lastly, they extracted the point of view of different users, which were reported. Based on their findings, DesignX gave us a list of recommendations. Weve assessed all of their recommendations and identified the ones that we can and cant execute easily.

The project started with an initial conversation where we walked DesignX through what we were trying to accomplish. We currently have two different major reports in our software platform that have tons of overlap. We have decided to reduce the number of reports in our platform by merging the two. We provided DesignX with some initial mockups from our internal design team that were fairly specific. We had the concept nailed down in these designs, but DesignX came up with something much flashier and more interesting. They used Figma for the design and they built us a usable product. They built a successful backend, and the frontend they built is still the basis of our product. There are no limitations to what they delivered. There were limitations from our side. We could have been better organized to use their services. They were constantly trying to help us forward and thinking with us, as well as in and out of the box. They were outstanding in everything they did to help us. The limitations they faced were due to our manner of organization.I think they could have guided us a bit more in how we should have done things, and that's because of our organization, not because they were doing enough.
