Promonaut is a private advertising network™ that allows people and companies to engage and pay people for one-to-one promotions.
In a world where attention is the most valued currency, Promonaut is trying to get you the most bang for your buck.
The service itself consists of two parts: a mobile app (iOS, and Android) as its main utility, and the Rocket web application used by promoters to create new campaigns and monitor existing and past ones.Since Promonaut is a product that has evolved and branched out of another product it already came with some design assets, so our first job was to work on the new branding and its visual identity.
Considering the deadlines we were faced with — and the client's attachment to their logo at the time — we stopped exploring new directions, and simply updated the logo they already had.
At the time we didn't know if this is going to be a permanent thing, so in the process we came up with the idea to create a gradient and use it as their main differentiator, a carrier of their identity if you will. We could then apply it to anything and “Promonautize” it.
Additionally, we created a temporary infosite, and various marketing materials they needed for their own promotion, and other uses.
