We have our own in-house development team that is swamped with working on our web application, Kanso, and did not have the bandwidth to work on sub-applications and portals. Briebug is a software vendor of ours and I have been working directly with one of their front end angular devs for years now. Despite being a contractor, he is absolutely one of the team in how seemless he integrates with everybody else and it is a true testament to how Briebug develops and supports their employees. On top of that, Briebug admin staff is so easy to work with and always enjoy chatting with Jesse and Harry about details of the contract or anything else. They are extremely personable and clearly are 100% invested in their clients, wanting nothing more than for them to succeed in every possible way.
