The Curate and Co. app design, developed by Aksha Sajeev and Meghna Chowdhary, is a user-friendly and engaging platform for Humber College’s industrial design students to sell customized furniture.
The app provides personalized suggestions, calibrated during onboarding and refined through previous purchases. This approach ensures users consistently get options that align with their tastes and needs.
Accessibility is the central element, with an interface crafted with muted colors and legible fonts. A unique accessibility menu maximizes this feature, offering various customization options so each user gets the best experience.
Lastly, the designers integrated a multi-filter search feature to streamline browsing, allowing users to narrow options efficiently. This feature simplifies finding the perfect piece of furniture, saving time and making the shopping experience more enjoyable.
