- Project Brief: Design a mobile app that helps cyclists track, manage, and secure their bicycles through a centralized digital platform.
An automotive app must feel as substantial as vehicle hardware without losing the agility of a bike. Kraftbase’s design for MyRide strikes this balance using deep blacks, burnt orange accents, and frosted glass surfaces.
The home screen sorts bikes through pill buttons labeled All, Hiking Bike and Sports Bike. A featured Naked KTM card carries the bike against an orange wash, with usage timing and battery stacked beside it.
The detail screen pushes the bike photo to full bleed and layers translucent metric cards over it for usage time and distance. A "Swipe to book" gesture anchors the bottom, replacing a standard button with something closer to a vehicle ignition.
Grotesque sans typography handles every label and headline, keeping the system technical without going industrial. Kraftbase took the friction points cyclists complained about, navigation, safety and data accuracy, and resolved them into one legible interface.
