Love Pill Logo Design
Love is the human connection that enables two individuals to form a mental bond -- much like the feelings that can be produced by strong logo designs.Â
Often, art and design gives viewers some sort of positive emotion that can resemble happiness, urgency, sophistication, even euphoria.
Or maybe even love.
Like that warm fuzzy feeling after you enter the awkward stage with a potential mate, and the butterflies hit. Oh man. This is it. This is the end of me. We are here now. Take my heart. Do not crush it please. Where do I put my hands? Why am I sitting this way?Â
You get the picture.
Red is the color of love, and love is the emotion that this logo targeted. We know it would not make sense to be green like grass. Â
Now, take note of the shades of red. The designer seamlessly combined different shades of red to create the shape of a pill that flows directly into the heart. Like an injection of euphoric ecstasy.
This is genius design at work. Every single symbol of every best logo on this very planet we stand on has an injection of relevant personification or metaphor.
If the company is about hunting, incorporate some sort of arrow or camouflage, like Gorco did.
If the company is about apples, be clever and hint at the leaf or shape of the apple, like Apple did.
If the company is revolutionary and contains characters that exist long after the creator passed away, incorporate the personality or personal touch of that creator, like Disney did.
This logo was an unused concept design for dating site the Love Pill, and is based on a heart icon with a rounded non-serif typeface.
The pill illustration, fitting perfectly inside the heart shape, makes the icon very three-dimensional without losing its trendy, minimalistic style. The feeling of love and passion exudes from the red tones translates the brand's goal of love well.
There is a sense of harmony between the icon and the typeface, which is as harmonious as a fleet of white robed angels with golden-hemmed tiaras floating on clouds above Mount Everest as they play you Bach on harp.
Take the pill. The pill of best logo design. In it, you will find the chemistry that makes the biological micro-reactions fizzle within ten seconds of dissolving into your bloodstream. Those ingredients are relevance, color contrasting, emotion and simplicity.
Love Pill is a bold logo design in the arts & recreation industry.
