Ludo Pepper Mill is a packaging design project by Verena Thaller for Vereinigte Werkstätten Hafen 52 that blends playfulness with traditional craftsmanship. Named after the Latin word for “play,” the series takes its form from skittles and appears either in bold game-inspired colors or natural wood finishes.

The packaging features a custom graphic pattern derived from the “Mensch ärgere dich nicht” game board. This pattern appears on a reusable wooden box produced in Graz and finished using laser cutting. The result is a tactile, durable package that reflects both the playful concept of the product and the precision of its making.
