Standout Features:

  • Thin, minimalist typography
  • Circular data visualization
  • Environmental photography and color palette

waldgrün Design, a studio founded by a "forest lover" with a passion for clear communication, developed this sustainability brochure for the architectural brand Alucobond.

The designer's objective was to take a dense report and make its key points understandable and simple for the target group.

The brochure uses a light, sans-serif typeface with generous spacing and clean character shapes, likely from a neo-grotesque or geometric family.

This typographic restraint channels the visual language of architectural modernism— precision and balance.

One spread in the magazine print design introduces a full-page circular infographic. This is used to visually organize the recycling lifecycle of the Alucobond products.

This radial layout is a great reflection of systems thinking. It represents a non-linear, closed-loop process that aligns perfectly with circular economy principles.

The calming colors also signal a sense of sincerity over spectacle, which is a great choice for something meant to be informative.

You'll see a lot of beautiful, high-impact architectural photography in this brochure.

The photos of the futuristic buildings are a great way to showcase the product in action. Additionally, the succinct text blocks and the icon-led captions are also a nice touch.

The Alucobond Sustainability Brochure is a clean, aesthetic, and intelligent marketing asset. A 2023 study by Sun & Wu found that the color green is particularly effective at positively influencing consumer perceptions of a brand's environmental and social responsibility.

Here, it successfully uses environmental cues in the photography and green in its branding to tell a powerful story of sustainability.

A great brochure does more than just present facts; it uses clean layouts and smart graphics to make even the most complex topics feel clear and understandable.
