For the Celebration of a 33rd birthday card design, German print designer Barbara Dilg incorporated German elements in the birthday card, making it a standout in our best birthday card designs list.
The design concept involved illustrating a shot glass, which is a play on the number 33 being a Schnapszahl, a German term for numbers where all digits are repeated, like 11, 22, 33, etc. Coincidentally, Schnaps also means liquor in German. The agency also used a handwritten typeface for the birthday card, giving it warmth amidst the cool blue and black color scheme.
