Home retail store Tom Dixon is a global phenomenon, thanks to its unique home decorum pieces. Its website reflects their design team’s ability to think outside of the box by using high-quality images and a minimalist concept. The website is clean, organized, and visually pleasing, a clear sign that the designers took advantage of the UI and UX applications.

When a visitor first comes to the site, they’re greeted with a modal window. The website uses the visitor’s IP address, and the black box on the left gives them the choice to proceed to the website. In addition, users can select a different region to enter the appropriate form of the website.

What's fantastic about this modal window is the background illustration. It reflects a world map that’s been constructed with triangles. Even though the image is noticeable, it doesn’t distract from the modal window’s primary purpose.

Tom Dixon’s home page is inviting, and it uses an asymmetrical gallery to represent their sitemap. The white background illuminates the high-resolution images on the page, enhancing UX interface. To further simplify site navigation, the Tom Dixon team added a horizontal menu at the top of each page.

At the bottom of every page is a footer menu that contains a call to action. Users can use the email signature bar to sign-up for weekly newsletters from the company. Although it's noticeable on the page, it doesn’t disrupt the overall user experience.

The “About” page maintains the same minimalist concept as the rest of the website. It depends on high-quality images to capture a user’s attention. The content on the page is extremely straightforward, and it doesn’t clutter the flow of the page.

Tom Dixon's website outshines their competition. It’s attractive, easy to use, and captures the eye of each user. Its clean, asymmetrical look keeps users interested in the company culture, inspiring consumers to purchase Tom Dixon products.

Tom Dixon is a great website design in the E-commerce & Retail industry.
