Groove Jones Reviews & Testimonials
Sam Rogers Project Manager at National 4-H Council
5.0★
VR/AR Review from Sam Rogers
The fine folks at Groove Jones really delivered with this project!See for yourself at https://4-h.org/clover/activities/rockets-to-the-moon/Our organization had worked with them before, but this was my first time...and my first time working with an AR project at all. Giving all the stars in all the categories isn't something I do much of, but in every way Groove Jones earned it.From the beginning, they got the intention and guided us through the choices needed to keep us within our fixed budget and immovable timeline. The team consistently delivered what we needed to get approvals from our internal and external stakeholders, and worked with us when we faced unexpected delays and technical surprises. We're just launched and already looking for the next opportunities to work with Groove Jones again! Totally professional, and totally fun :) They really made our team and our brand look good.

The client had an exceptionally positive experience with Groove Jones. The agency delved into new technology boosting user experience, ensuring it aligned with the existing environment and was multi-channel compatible. Groove Jones in less than 90 days unveiled an interactive platform that was not only visually captivating but also had a striking impact. Throughout the journey, it remained communicative, promptly addressing modifications and infusing their unique insights. (verified via email)
Alan Fletcher Chief Product Officer at Aurea Software

VR/AR Review from Alan Fletcher
The client collaborated with Groove Jones on a challenging initiative, marked by a lofty yet vague objective and a pressing deadline. Discovered through online research and having no prior association, the collaboration swiftly took off. In merely three months, Groove Jones conceptualized and constructed a 20x16x10 Holodeck for the client's participation in the MWC event in Barcelona. (Verified via email)

The team at BLL went above and beyond. They took my app idea and designed/developed it with lots of thought and care. The planning and "sprints" were well organized and we kept on-target with frequent catch-ups & project management tools. Looking forward to launching the app to the public with their support.

Tony Greco Review from Google

TDF provided us with product management, development, and strategic consultation. We started to build the product with an individual and had initial wireframes and mock-ups, but the project quickly grew larger than an individual person could handle. TDF evaluated what we had and gave us feedback, then created a plan to replace and fix what had already been done. They started with extensive customer development-- something we missed the first time around-- so their new wireframes and plans were based on what our customers actually wanted. Then, they executed the plan.In addition to the development work, they also took care of logo and design work. They used Amazon Web Services for our platform. We have multiple features such as an API, database, and an administration tool for our own interface. We have a provider tool for facilities to update their data within the database. People can find resources on our web page, web application, and an iOS and Android app. We continue to work with them and have found it more effective and efficient to use them as a virtual outsourced department.

We are a consulting firm that specializes in working with healthcare organizations who are seeking to become accredited, stay accredited, or are working with particular healthcare legal compliance issues that we specialize in. The management of a typical accreditation process is complex for both the applicants and consultants providing them with help, so we wanted technology to help simplify and clarify that process. The Development Factory developed and designed two important pieces of software for us that have gone through multiple iterations over the years. The most important is an online project management platform that has all of our resources in one place and allows us to have secure communications with our clients and exchange documents and feedback important to the accreditation process. The platform also provides dashboards for our clients that allow clients to track their process and see how they're doing based on our scoring system that scores any documentation that will be sent to accreditation organizations. The second piece of software TDF built is a training program called AccrediTrain. We had a training software before, but they built a new self-service version that is completely automated, allowing a client to schedule a training for their employees without having to involve any of my staff. As a result of the work TDF did for our firm, we are now able to handle a larger number of clients with the same number of staff, helping us to increase our revenues by a factor of four.Beyond that, the reactions to our platforms have been outstanding. Just recently a new client was having her first experience with Goldfinch and she said it was just amazing. Another client of ours is a competitor and asked us for help on a project. This is an organization that has a particularly sophisticated knowledge about the accreditation process, and their CEO and president was very impressed by our software platforms. They really listened to our description of what we do and how we do it and then turned that into software that quite beautifully captures what we do and how we do it. They clearly care about us and our satisfaction.

Frequently Asked Questions About AI Development Companies in USA
What services does an AI development company in USA provide?
AI development companies in USA provide a wide range of services that replicate human cognition, including machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and robotics.
According to Pixion, the most common AI development services in USA include:
Enterprise RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) platforms make up 50% or more of all AI services provided. They include creating a secure, auditable “ChatGPT for your company data” built on the latest frontier models (GPT, Claude Sonnet, Gemini Pro, etc.) + best-in-class retrieval.
AI agents and agentic workflows account for 25 to 30%. They involve developing autonomous agents that can reason, use tools, remember context, and execute complex business processes (powered by API calls, with zero fine-tuning).
AI-driven workflow automation that replaces brittle, rule-based bots with reasoning-powered agents presents 10 to 15% of all AI services.
How much do AI development services cost in the USA?
Hiring an AI software development company in the USA for prototyping and minimal viable products (MVPs) can cost from $50,000 and go above $500,000 for custom enterprise models, as Pixion states.
Simplistic agentic workflows, RAG pipeline, integration with internal data sources, moderate UI/UX, basic security
$80,000 to $200,000
4 to 10 months
Medium to high complexity
Multimodal systems, fine-tuning or pre-training, agentic workflows, custom model optimization, on-premise/private deployment, compliance (GDPR, etc.)
$150,000+
10 to 12+ months
Enterprise / highly complex
Bespoke model development or heavy distillation, multi-agent systems, real-time inference at scale, advanced MLOps, deep integrations (ERP, CRM, proprietary data lakes), and ongoing training pipelines
$500,000+
1+ years
When can clients expect ROI from an AI project?
Return on investment (ROI) depends on the type of AI development services provided:
Support automation usually shows ROI within 2 to 4 months because it directly replaces workload.
Sales AI shows ROI in 1 to 3 months because a single converted lead can justify the cost.
Content automation depends on the SEO cycle, but usually returns value within 3 to 6 months.
Recommendation systems pay off in 2 to 5 months, depending on traffic.
Internal ChatGPTs are slower, usually 4 to 9 months, because their impact spreads across multiple departments.
What are the typical timelines for AI projects from initial planning to delivery across complexity levels?
AI systems don’t reach a final state, as they are not static assets. They keep learning, breaking, and improving as they absorb new data through regular usage.
Approximate timeframes are:
Small projects, like focused chatbots or narrow content workflows, usually take 3 to 5 months from the first workshop to a stable version people can use at work.
Mid-level projects, such as full-support automation or sales qualification, often take 6 to 9 months to feel properly integrated into daily operations.
Large, cross-departmental systems such as recommendation engines or internal company-wide copilots usually require 9 to 18 months before AI becomes a part of the company’s operations.
How often do AI development companies in USA update or retrain deployed models?
Most production AI models are monitored and retrained from weekly to quarterly, while high-volume or fast-changing systems update even daily or in near real time.
Fast-changing consumer apps and social platforms: Continuous or daily updates
Finance and fraud detection: Weekly to monthly retraining
Healthcare and other regulated use cases: Monthly to quarterly retraining
Retail, pricing, and recommendations: Daily to weekly refreshes
Large language models (like GPT or Gemini): Major versions every 1 to 2 years, with ongoing fine-tuning and safety updates.
What industries employ AI development companies in USA most?
Many sectors rely heavily on AI development services, and the following list shows the industries with the highest adoption. The percentages show how many organizations in the given sector use at least one AI capability.
