WordPress Website Design Review from Lauren Maffei Johnson
Our company had such a wonderful experience with this team! Their design work is top-notch, and they did a really wonderful job of walking us through the process, but also finding ways to go above and beyond with things we needed additional help with, such as connecting Google Analytics. Highly recommend and would use again.

Web Development Review from Sarah Balducci
The team that I worked with was fantastic and was able to give my company a stunning website, every idea came to life. The team of Emily, Monica and Violet was always available and with a smile on there faces. Great company to work with.

A terrific comics and game store. Comics and Manga up front with Warhammer 40k, Magic, D&D and others in the back. They have a good selection od Warhammer 40k models as well as Age of Sigmar.
Sylvie Dale's Review Sourced from Google
Stopped in for some Magic card boosters and was greeted warmly by all staff and the owner, who gave me a rundown of upcoming gaming events at the store. I was blown away by the complex schedule they keep - free play, draft play events, and more. The owner gives freely of his time to provide those events, and it's clear he cares.
Perry's Review Sourced from Google
Extremely judgemental, sad, employees. I recently moved to town and came in after work in my business attire. After getting a confused look from the associate up front, (not even a greeting). I started browsing, but everytime I looked up, I was being stared at which made me slightly uncomfortable. I moved towards the back and an associate there said hello, we had a short chat about comics and trading cards but they were rude to a younger customer that came in, it was unwarranted and I'm assuming either this is the employee's normal behavior or an elitist owner. I also couldn't help but wonder if the associate was under some sort of influence. After noticing the trading card prices are exponentially higher than I'm used to seeing in bigger cities, where that sort of pricing would make more sense; I took my leave not purchasing anything feeling underwhelmed. As I passed the associate up front, they still did nothing but continue to stare. Are they not used to the professional community? The store is tidy and organized but cluttered and the atmosphere/vibe is cold. Also not much of a variety for a hobby store. I would much rather take the trip to Milton Freewater to the hobby store there or even Gamestop would be a better choice. I do not see myself returning in the future.

Damian's Review Sourced from Google
We’ve worked with IMP Marketing for our hair care brand for around two years, mostly on ads and email marketing. They really took the time to understand our products and customers, which made their suggestions feel much more useful. They helped us improve our campaigns, organize our email flows better, and make our marketing feel more consistent overall. I also liked that they cared about the visuals, which is important for a beauty brand, but still kept the focus on results. The team was responsive, clear, and easy to talk to whenever we had feedback. Overall, we’re really happy with their support.
Adam's Review Sourced from Google
IMP Marketing and their team have been an A+ to work with. We’re very appreciative of their team and would recommend IMP Marketing to anyone in need of ecommerce marketing support.

NYC eCommerce Marketing Agency Hiring Guide
Why should I hire an eCommerce marketing agency near me?
You should hire an eCommerce marketing agency near you because local eCommerce marketing agencies have a better understanding of the local market and are experts in delivering customized marketing services specific to your local area.
Hire an eCommerce marketing agency near you to enjoy the following benefits:
- Stronger communication and collaboration
A local eCommerce marketing agency makes it easier to have in-person meetings for more productive discussions and clearer communication. The agency’s firsthand understanding of your business, brand, and operations can lead to more effective strategy development. - Faster response times and support
Working in the same time zone means a local agency can address urgent issues or provide immediate support faster than a remote team. This is crucial for fast-paced eCommerce businesses where quick decisions can make a big impact on sales and performance. - Understanding of local market trends
Nearby eCommerce marketing companies understand the specific consumer behaviors, preferences, and trends in your local area. They can help you capitalize on local buying patterns and events. - Local SEO and targeting expertise
Local companies are more likely to have in-depth expertise in optimizing for local search rankings, which is critical if your eCommerce business targets customers in a specific geographic area. - Personalized strategy
Working with a local eCommerce marketing agency can provide a more personalized approach to your marketing strategy, considering your specific business needs, local market trends, and customer behavior. - Competitive pricing
A local agency may offer more affordable rates and pricing options compared to larger, international agencies. - Better cultural and market relevance
Local agencies are more familiar with the regional culture and can tailor marketing messages that align with the local community's tastes and preferences. This will help avoid cultural missteps that might alienate local customers. - Strong local network
A nearby eCommerce marketing company may have established relationships with other businesses or local influencers that can help your promotional efforts. - Support for local events and campaigns
Partnering with a local agency allows you to participate in regional events, holidays, and local initiatives, boosting your brand visibility and community engagement.

How long does it take to create an eCommerce marketing strategy in New York City?
The time it takes to create an eCommerce marketing strategy in New York City, like in any other US location, varies significantly. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on the complexity and depth of the plan.
Factors that affect the timelines include the type of eCommerce industry or niche, business size, target revenue, and the resources available. Another consideration is the type of eCommerce marketing strategy that would be used.
For example, a small business with a well-defined target market and a straightforward product offering might be able to develop a basic eCommerce strategy in a few weeks. However, a large enterprise with a complex product line and multiple target markets may require several months of research and planning to create a comprehensive strategy.
Here's a general breakdown of the steps involved in creating an eCommerce marketing plan:
- Initial planning and research
Involves initial audit, goal setting, identifying target customers, brand positioning, and market research - Strategy development
Identifying the channels to use such as SEO, content marketing, social media plans, paid ad strategies, and others - Implementation and testing
Launching and optimizing key components, such as A/B testing product pages and retargeting, and adjusting the strategies accordingly
How much do New York City eCommerce marketing companies charge for their services?
The cost of hiring an eCommerce marketing company in New York City can vary widely based on several factors, including the scope of services, the agency's reputation, and the specific needs of your business. Clients would normally receive customized pricing after a comprehensive audit.
However, pricing for many eCommerce marketing agencies within and outside the US often falls within the $1,000-$10,000 range. Again, the costs will depend on the eCommerce site's size and complexity. On the other hand, eCommerce marketing plans for most Shopify stores, one of the most popular pre-built platforms, usually range from $500-$8,000.
Meanwhile, here are the average agency costs you can expect for core eCommerce marketing services:
- eCommerce SEO: $1,500-$5,000 per month
- eCommerce PPC advertising: 12-15% of monthly ad spend
- eCommerce content marketing: $2,000-$50,000 per month
- eCommerce email marketing: $300-$500 per month
- eCommerce social media marketing: $900-$20,000 per month
The top 50 NYC eCommerce marketing agencies on DesignRush charge an average of $112/hour. Meanwhile, 9.7% of companies accept budgets under $1,000 for simple eCommerce website optimization, and 3.2% require a minimum budget of $50,000 for complex marketing strategies that include marketplace optimization and large-scale campaigns.
What should I look for in an NYC eCommerce marketing agency?
You should look for an NYC eCommerce marketing agency that understands online buying behaviors, has a proven track record of increasing online sales, and knows how to leverage online shopping trends. Here are the unique qualities to look for:
- Strategies for both local and global markets
Look for NYC eCommerce marketing agencies that understand both local consumer behavior online and global trends. They should be able to tailor campaigns to New York City's diverse demographic mix while also attracting international or regional customers. - Specialization in eCommerce
Focus on companies that specialize in eCommerce marketing, as they have the expertise to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of online retail, unlike general marketing agencies. - Branding and design expertise
Choose an agency that also specializes in branding and design to ensure your brand is authentic, appealing, and consistent. That way, you can build a strong brand identity that customers recognize and trust. - Proven results and client portfolio
Work with New York City eCommerce marketing companies that have a track record of successful campaigns for similar niche or industry. Review their portfolios and case studies to assess their expertise and experience. - Full-service capabilities
Find an NYC eCommerce marketing agency that offers end-to-end services, including SEO tailored to local, regional, and global markets, content marketing, and product optimization. - Expertise in emerging trends
Choose an agency that's up to date with the latest eCommerce trends, like shoppable content, voice search optimization, and AI-driven marketing strategies. - Budget and flexibility
Your chosen NYC eCommerce marketing agency should offer service packages with flexible pricing options that can adapt to your business's evolving needs. - Good communication
Given the fast-paced nature of eCommerce, your marketing company should be able to provide regular updates, maintain open communication, and demonstrate responsiveness to ensure real-time strategic adjustments. - Relevant technology and tools
Partner with an NYC eCommerce marketing agency proficient in using tools specifically designed for optimizing online shops and eCommerce platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Shopify, Magento, and others.
What should I avoid when hiring a New York City eCommerce marketing company?
When hiring a New York City eCommerce marketing company, avoid these red flags that could cause problems for you in the future:
- Lack of eCommerce specialization
Avoid general marketing agencies that may not have the specific expertise needed for eCommerce. Marketing agencies that don’t specialize in eCommerce may not fully grasp the complexities of online retail. - Poor communication and support
Don't choose NYC eCommerce marketing agencies that are unresponsive or difficult to reach, as delays in communication could lead to misunderstandings or mismanagement of campaigns. - Lack of proven results
Stay away from companies that are unwilling to show evidence of their successes like relevant case studies, portfolios, or positive testimonials from previous clients, especially in the eCommerce space. - Ignoring local market dynamics
Avoid agencies that don't understand local consumer behavior or fail to consider specific marketing challenges and opportunities, such as trends, cultural diversity, and competition. - Promising instant results
Steer clear of New York City eCommerce marketing companies that guarantee quick results like fast ROI on ads. Effective eCommerce marketing takes time, especially for building organic traffic and sustainable sales growth. - One-size-fits-all strategy
Beware of agencies that use a cookie-cutter approach and don’t take the time to understand your business, product line, or customer demographics. - Overreliance on paid advertising
Avoid companies that push paid advertising, especially if it’s their primary solution for traffic and sales growth. A strong eCommerce strategy needs a balanced approach involving SEO, content marketing, email campaigns, and more. - Unrealistic pricing
Be cautious of eCommerce marketing agencies offering rates that seem too good to be true, because it likely is. Low pricing often means cutting corners on quality, creativity, or results. - Negative reviews
Don't work with companies with a history of negative reviews and client complaints. Verify the agency's reputation by reading reviews on trusted platforms like DesignRush, Google, and Trustpilot. - Short-term focus
Avoid New York City eCommerce marketing companies that primarily focus on quick wins rather than long-term sustainable growth and customer retention.
