We worked with Joe Parker and a team of other people at MetaDesign to develop a website for rare disease organization. The strengths of MetaDesign are the willingness to communicate, work out issues/problems, unlimited number of edits, and ability to take feedback. The challenge we had was the person uploading copy repeatedly made mistakes with the copy that needed to be corrected (an editor's nightmare, but was fixed every time when we pointed it out).We were very happy with the design they came up with and it fit the requirements we needed. We went in with a very strong idea of what we wanted, how much copy we wanted, the pages, tabs, etc., and they were able to deliver exactly what we asked for. There was some lag time, but that was due to timing issues on our end.I'm not sure you'll ever be able to find a web designer/builder from scratch, at an affordable price, and not have some issues. When we did, we were always able to work them out with discussion and lots of screenshots!We are very happy with the final product. No bugs -- works perfectly!
