Sova Creative Studio’s latest project captures the authenticity and sophistication of Serbian winemaking. Known for its premium selection of wines from indigenous grape varieties, Gora Winery required a packaging solution reflecting its rich heritage and modern appeal. Sova's solution expertly balanced these needs, creating an elegant, culturally rooted design that elevates the brand.
The packaging draws heavily from Serbia’s cultural and historical significance, infusing each label with meaningful symbolism. The choice to reflect autochthonous grape varieties through subtle visual cues creates a deeper narrative and meaningful storytelling.
Sova was also inspired by Serbian Cyrillic text, infusing the packaging with a deep sense of identity. This script pays homage to Serbia’s historical roots, establishing a connection between the product and its heritage. Plus, this design choice isn’t just about aesthetics; it also communicates the authenticity of the brand’s wine selection.
Additionally, the designer balanced a clean, minimalist, modern aesthetic with a restrained color palette to give each bottle a timeless feel. This simplicity ensures the brand appeals to discerning consumers looking for a product that speaks of quality and refinement.
