Design Único was tasked with creating the packaging for Tramontina Barbeque, a heritage-rich brand known for its quality kitchenware. The design is a bold and sophisticated look for a modern barbecue toolset.

The packaging uses a bold, triadic color system. A dominant black background is accentuated by a deep oxblood red and a royal blue.

Crisp white typography is used for contrast, and subtle, distressed stenciled textures are overlaid.

Each face of the retail packaging design prominently features ultra-sharp, photo-realistic renderings of the knives and forks inside. T

These are complemented by lifestyle food photography, including juicy lamb chops, peppercorns, and wooden cutting boards for appetizing context. 

This focus on high-quality visuals is a direct appeal to the senses. A 2018 study by Perez confirmed that appetizing depictions can significantly elevate a consumer's perception of a product's taste and value.

On all sides of the packaging, you'll find a consistent grid of custom iconography that presents the product's technical benefits. T

These icons are rendered in clean, gold-toned lines over a matte black background, which creates a very premium feel.

This icon set communicates the key selling points, like being dishwasher-safe, in an instantly scannable format. The five-year guarantee and Brazilian manufacturing seal also add a layer of credibility.
