Directed by Dylan Pharazyn, this campaign is part of a series of four 30-second, dialogue-free films that explore the emotional side of being outdoors rather than adrenaline-driven adventure. Quiet moments of camping, resting, and moving through nature frame the outdoors as a place where comfort can exist beyond the boundaries of home.
The films take a cinematic, observational approach, pairing natural ambience and subtle foley with calm music to create a grounded sensory tone. Kathmandu gear appears naturally in use, from sleeping bags to tents, reinforcing authenticity without interrupting the stillness or human focus of the scenes.
Dylan Pharazyn is a New Zealand–based film director whose work focuses on visually driven storytelling rooted in atmosphere and authenticity. He blends technical precision with emotional restraint to create immersive films that feel human, thoughtful, and quietly powerful.
