While incorporating and revamping our business model, it became apparent that we were need of a website update. I went through a process of visiting with several different companies and became obvious almost immediately that Matchbox would be the team to carry us forward. The value I received in the time I spent with Valerie goes far beyond what I expected and certainly beyond what I paid! She has such an easy-going and friendly demeanor but at the same time is no-nonsense and efficient and effective. We met to talk about creating trailers for my social media and she gave me respectful but tough insight into editing my website I would never have on my own. At 62, I don't have the skills I need to cover the digital landscape necessary to advance my cause. But Valerie DOES, and then some! We had a great initial project with Ameex before they were purchased by Perficient. Post-support was slow, but acceptable, however as time went on, I stopped getting the level of communication and time itemization I was accustomed to. With Perficient taking over, things devolved pretty quickly, and despite multiple conversations with my account manager - nothing changed, even after bumping up hours to have more dedicated resources. Ultimately, I cancelled the contract this year. Disappointing because their team/work was stellar (and the development team is still solid) before, but the simple asks were continually ignored, and over time, I lost trust that I was getting the hours agreed upon.Towards the end, there was also what felt like a lot of gaslighting of my concerns, and outside of an initial project, I cannot recommend Perficient for ongoing support.Edit: I'm now bumping this to a 1 Star because I've spent the last 3 weeks digging into code and it's one questionable decision after another. Really poor.
