CodeIntel is a complete joke of a company, and dealing with the owner, Jose, has been one of the most frustrating, disheartening, and frankly infuriating experiences of my life. After more than seven years of empty promises, absurd delays, and every excuse imaginable, the only thing we ever received was a glorified PowerPoint presentation about what the app might look like—someday. No working product. No progress. Just lies, stalling, and smoke.My sister and I invested $10,000 into this project, and after years of being strung along—and while my sister was recovering from brain cancer, no less—Jose finally agreed to pay us back in $1,000 monthly installments. He made one partial payment of $505, then vanished. Ghosted us entirely. The only thing he bothered to send after that was an email saying he wasn't obligated to pay us back at all. The audacity.Nearly a year has passed since then. No repayment, no apology, no explanation. Just silence.Whether this was gross incompetence or outright fraud doesn't even matter anymore—the result is the same: we were conned out of $10,000, emotionally drained, and left watching a dream slowly rot. If you enjoy being misled, ignored, and financially burned, then by all means, give your money to CodeIntel. Otherwise, stay far, far away.
