    • Hanna Dobromyl
Hanna Dobromyl Technology Partnerships Lead at Akurateco
      5.0★

      eCommerce Review from Hanna Dobromyl

We brought Elogic in as an extension of our engineering team to help Akurateco scale integrations across Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, and custom commerce environments for enterprise merchants. Their senior engineers integrated smoothly into our workflows, covering integration development, platform customization, and technical consulting - with communication that stayed transparent, disciplined, and proactive throughout, from status updates to flagging risks early. Elogic's strength showed most in complex B2B commerce - account structures, merchant-specific configurations, and enterprise buying requirements - and in integrating our stack with ERP, CRM, PIM, and other backend systems. When priorities shifted, they adapted without friction, and for an engagement of this scope, the value was clear: their process lowered hiring risk and let us scale delivery without building that capacity in-house. The impact has been measurable: integration delivery accelerated by roughly 3040%, delivery capacity grew by about 50%, and we've been able to support enterprise merchant requirements faster without expanding headcount. This is an ongoing partnership, and Elogic continues to be a reliable technology partner as we scale.

      B2B Review from Anna Korobkyna

Elogic helped us build and improve the digital experience around our enterprise cybersecurity platform, focusing on customer-facing workflows and a more scalable way for enterprise customers to manage their accounts and services. As our enterprise customer base grew, many processes still required manual involvement from our internal teams, which became difficult to scale. We needed a partner who could understand our business processes and help us build a more efficient and maintainable solution. Elogic supported us with customer portal development, account management workflows, API integrations with our existing systems, backend and frontend development, QA, and ongoing technical improvements. What stood out was their ability to understand the complexity of enterprise requirements and think beyond individual tasks. They focused not only on delivering functionality but also on creating solutions that could support future growth. Communication was clear and proactive throughout the engagement. The team adapted well as priorities evolved and worked closely with us to keep everything aligned. The result has been reduced manual effort in customer workflows, a stronger foundation for scaling enterprise operations, and more time for our internal team to focus on advancing our core security platform. This is an ongoing partnership, and I would recommend Elogic to B2B software companies looking for a technology partner to build scalable customer-facing platforms and complex integrations.

eCommerce Development Review from Julia Klotsko

We brought Elogic in to build a Shopify store from scratch for one of our clients - a project that required not just a clean storefront but deep integrations with NetSuite for ERP and Brightpearl for order management, alongside our full marketing stack. That combination of storefront and backend complexity is exactly where a lot of agencies fall short.Elogic handled it without missing a beat. The discovery phase was thorough - they mapped every integration touchpoint before writing a line of code, which eliminated the kind of mid-build misalignments that usually cost real time and money to fix. Both workstreams ran in parallel and came together cleanly at launch. The results were tangible: over 120 pre-orders in the first two weeks, 40% above target; order processing errors dropped by roughly 70% after Brightpearl automation replaced manual handling; inventory discrepancies between the storefront and NetSuite went to zero; and paid media ROAS improved by 25% in the first month simply because attribution was finally accurate.Project management was disciplined and transparent throughout - we always knew where things stood, and when requirements shifted mid-build, the team adapted without friction. After launch they stayed actively involved, optimising performance and flagging issues proactively rather than waiting to be asked. For a project of this complexity, Elogic delivered strong value for money. I would recommend them to any agency or business dealing with backend system complexity alongside a storefront build - that's where they genuinely stand out.

      Branding Review from Anonymous

I'm a department director at a consumer technology protection company, overseeing our website and Amazon channels. We engaged Netalico Commerce to implement our rebrand and completely overhaul our website's frontend.Netalico successfully implemented our new design and developed custom features for our e-commerce platform. They've become our web development partners, continuously adding integrations and improvements. Using Magento, PHP, and SQL, they built custom features including product registration for lifetime warranties and insurance claim management directly through our site.In 2021, they executed a complex multi-company project integrating our insurance plan data into POS systems across North America, enabling virtual insurance sales at retail locations.I work directly with Mark (CTO & Founder), Emily (E-Commerce Solutions Specialist), Bianca (Project Manager), and Lisa (Chief Design Officer). We've been working together since May 2020 on a monthly retainer basis.Netalico has executed all projects exceptionally well, consistently meeting deadlines and launch dates with accurate quotes. We communicate through weekly meetings, Slack, chat, and email. What impresses me most is their outstanding team structure. They have talented, highly skilled members organized efficiently for optimal project delivery. They make the client experience seamless.

      Beauty Marketing Review from Anonymous

I manage a beauty brand, and we engaged Netalico Commerce to handle our web development and email marketing needs. After an initial strategy call to understand our priorities, Netalico Commerce developed a comprehensive plan to address our requirements. They now maintain our Shopify e-commerce platform and implement ongoing updates. The site features shopping capabilities, a blog, and class registration.Katherine, our Director of Operations and primary contact, leads the engagement with support from her design team. The results have been impressive - our conversion rate has increased, and they've outperformed previous developers in efficiency, response time, and organization. They consistently deliver on schedule and within budget, using Trello, email, and Zoom for seamless communication.Their standout quality is their ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards across all deliverables. Katherine excels at prioritizing our needs and finding effective solutions.Their onboarding process for new clients is excellent - I highly recommend utilizing Trello for optimal collaboration.

      Website Redesign Review from Anonymous

I hired Netalico to redesign and develop our e-commerce site for our historic lighting and home decor business. We needed to modernize our outdated WordPress platform and handle our highly customizable products.Netalico rebuilt our site from scratch, creating a beautiful platform that seamlessly manages our complex product customization and integrates with external apps. They developed an efficient product page system and added content capabilities we previously lacked. We worked primarily with Bianca (project manager), a developer, and Lisa (designer). The site launched successfully and maintains our steady revenue stream while delivering the exact customer experience we envisioned. What distinguishes Netalico is their willingness to understand our unique needs rather than forcing us into a template. They listened carefully and tailored their approach accordingly.

Maddie, my main point of contact, is outstanding — she’s incredibly organized, makes sure every question and concern I raise is addressed, and communicates clearly and consistently. She goes beyond execution by offering creative solutions, and she does it all with efficiency and reliability. In short, I love working with her and wish all of my partners were as collaborative and effective. For me, a delighted client experience is one where communication is proactive and clear, projects move forward efficiently without unnecessary delays, and the quality of the work consistently exceeds expectations. I value partners who are collaborative and solution-oriented, who take ownership of the details, and who make me feel supported throughout the process. Speed is important, but never at the expense of quality — the ultimate delight is knowing I can trust the team to handle things with care, creativity, and reliability. Maddie worked hard to ensure that I was a delighted client.Maddie has been an absolute joy to work with, she is the kind of project manager every client dreams of. She’s not only highly organized and attentive to every detail, but she also takes the time to ‘teach me how to fish’ by showing me how to handle things myself in Shopify, which empowers me far beyond the scope of our meetings. Her positive, can-do attitude is contagious, and she always approaches challenges with creativity and optimism. I truly love working with her and feel grateful to have her as a partner on this project.

We needed a new website that would simplify some of the complexities of our business model. At the time, we were juggling multiple platforms and wanted a single site that could streamline operations, improve the customer experience, and give us room to scale.Partnering with Arctic Grey has been transformative. They helped us consolidate three separate websites into one, which has made it much easier to manage our operations. This change not only saves us time and resources but also allows us to serve more happy customers with more efficient systems in place. The new site has given us a solid foundation to grow from, both now and in the future.Project management was handled primarily through Slack, and it was extremely effective. The communication was clear, timely, and organized, which kept everything on track and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.What stands out most is the clarity and passion of the team, especially Maddie. She is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about the success of her clients. That level of dedication is rare and makes all the difference when you’re trusting someone to build such an essential piece of your business.

I’m very happy with our experience working with Arctic Grey. The Design Team’s creativity has met our expectations, the Development Team has accurately and efficiently implemented the requirements, and the QA Team has done a great job identifying critical issues and bugs. The Management Team has coordinated everything smoothly, the weekly reports have been detailed and informative, and overall the project management process has been very effective. Communication has been clear and transparent throughout, the deliverables have met our initial expectations, and any changes to scope have been handled professionally. The team has shown strong expertise across the board, and we would absolutely consider working with Arctic Grey again in the future.I can’t thank Brooke enough for her hard work and patience with us—she is amazing. After a horrendous onboarding experience with Netsuite, we honestly didn’t believe a smooth onboarding was even possible. From Anthony to the team actually handling our work, it has been a really good project. It wasn’t easy, and I would have hated to try this on our own, that’s for sure.We did face some challenges on our side, with other projects going on and some staff changes, which caused us to drag our heels at times. That ended up being more of a pain point for Arctic Grey than for us, but it was frustrating for everyone involved. We also ran into a billing issue that was a little complicated—I think the buying experience could be clearer, although in our case PayPal was probably most of the issue.Looking ahead, I’d love to keep partnering with Arctic Grey long-term, maybe even in a consulting role, to ensure we’re always doing things well and right. Knowing we have a partner who understands our business and is there to help us be better is huge. On top of that, my colleagues only have wonderful things to say about Brooke—she’s truly top notch. At the moment, I don’t have specific suggestions for improvements or additional services, though I suspect there are areas we don’t know about yet where Arctic Grey could continue to guide us. Overall, I’m extremely grateful for their support, expertise, and partnership.

Hire an eCommerce marketing agency near you to enjoy the following benefits:

  • Stronger communication and collaboration

Factors that affect the timelines include the type of eCommerce industry or niche, business size, target revenue, and the resources available. Another consideration is the type of eCommerce marketing strategy that would be used.

For example, a small business with a well-defined target market and a straightforward product offering might be able to develop a basic eCommerce strategy in a few weeks. Here's a general breakdown of the steps involved in creating an eCommerce marketing plan:

  • Initial planning and research
Involves initial audit, goal setting, identifying target customers, brand positioning, and market research
  • Strategy development
Identifying the channels to use such as SEO, content marketing, social media plans, paid ad strategies, and others
  • Implementation and testing
Launching and optimizing key components, such as A/B testing product pages and retargeting, and adjusting the strategies accordingly

What should I avoid when hiring a New York City eCommerce marketing company?

When hiring a New York City eCommerce marketing company, avoid these red flags that could cause problems for you in the future:

  • Lack of eCommerce specialization
Avoid general marketing agencies that may not have the specific expertise needed for eCommerce. Marketing agencies that don’t specialize in eCommerce may not fully grasp the complexities of online retail.
  • Poor communication and support
Don't choose NYC eCommerce marketing agencies that are unresponsive or difficult to reach, as delays in communication could lead to misunderstandings or mismanagement of campaigns.
  • Lack of proven results
Stay away from companies that are unwilling to show evidence of their successes like relevant case studies, portfolios, or positive testimonials from previous clients, especially in the eCommerce space.
  • Ignoring local market dynamics
Avoid agencies that don't understand local consumer behavior or fail to consider specific marketing challenges and opportunities, such as trends, cultural diversity, and competition.
  • Promising instant results
Steer clear of New York City eCommerce marketing companies that guarantee quick results like fast ROI on ads. Effective eCommerce marketing takes time, especially for building organic traffic and sustainable sales growth.
  • One-size-fits-all strategy
Beware of agencies that use a cookie-cutter approach and don’t take the time to understand your business, product line, or customer demographics.
  • Overreliance on paid advertising
Avoid companies that push paid advertising, especially if it’s their primary solution for traffic and sales growth. A strong eCommerce strategy needs a balanced approach involving SEO, content marketing, email campaigns, and more.
  • Unrealistic pricing
Be cautious of eCommerce marketing agencies offering rates that seem too good to be true, because it likely is. Low pricing often means cutting corners on quality, creativity, or results.
  • Negative reviews
Don't work with companies with a history of negative reviews and client complaints. Verify the agency's reputation by reading reviews on trusted platforms like DesignRush, Google, and Trustpilot.
  • Short-term focus
Avoid New York City eCommerce marketing companies that primarily focus on quick wins rather than long-term sustainable growth and customer retention.
