We were in daily contact with the UX/UI designer in form of dailies or when we had to clarify some questions. With the project manager, we had a short conversation every 2 weeks to clarify all possible questions. We personally love to work in a very process-oriented way. Previously, we had many complaints in the app store. Since working with this developer and tester, these complaints about the app functioning and bugs have disappeared. The time zone different is sometimes challenging, since we are in California and they are in Europe.
