For the past 20 years, our company has been honored to help some of the world's best firms restructure sales and marketing divisions.We had engaged Alliance Interactive to redesign a 200-page website with functionality improvements; the scope of work was massive.At the time, our website ranked well and with sufficient conversion rates, but it needed to be modernized.However, it was imperative that conversion rate, branding and search engine results be maintained.Therefore, we began looking for digital marketing companies to assist with a complete redesign.For context, we budgeted about $35,000 for the website redesign and overhaul project. An everchanging thing, it was difficult to keep up with all the new technologies. When I explained to them my disdain for Wordpress, they happily introduced me to their new system, Waves. Whoa. Surf's up, internetters! Most of the glowing reviews here don’t seem to be from real clients. My experience was the opposite.This company is grossly incompetent. They charged high fees but delivered sub-par work, riddled with delays and headaches that continued even after the contract ended.They were hired to design a web app, but the end product was so poor that I had to bring in engineers to fix the mess they left behind. There were issues at every stage of the project, from design to deployment.What stings the most is that I was the one who recommended them to my team because a friend knew the owner. I deeply regret that recommendation.The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that the team, Lanre especially, were at least cooperative — but cooperation is pointless (and frankly annoying) when the work is fundamentally flawed.My advice: stick to using them only for basic website creation, and hire a skilled freelancer for more advanced projects.My advice to Chisom: It’s unfortunate that our experience turned out so poorly, because your company is a great concept with a lot of potential. Protect the brand you’ve worked so hard to build — the sweat and tears show — by investing in skilled engineers and raising delivery standards. Otherwise, you risk frustrated clients, avoidable disputes, and damage to the reputation you’ve worked to establish.

I visited Zealous System on 16th June 2025 for the walk-in interview announced on LinkedIn for interns/freshers in Python, PHP, WordPress, .Net, and QA roles. Despite clearly stating it was open for freshers, upon arrival, all Python candidates, including myself and my sister, were told they only accept those with prior experience, as interns are directly placed on live projects. This information was never mentioned in the post. The company blamed the marketing team for the misleading post. This experience wasted our valuable time, energy, and travel expenses. I urge the company to coordinate better internally and post accurate job/internship information to avoid misguiding freshers who genuinely seek opportunities.

In a year with only 20 hours of effort a month we went from getting an average position of 45 with 1,500 impressions and 8 clicks a day; to an average position of 30 with 10,000 impressions and 18 clicks a day. The implementation of a theme was previously botched by another company and Smile Media was able to come in and work on fixing those issues while still focusing on SEO boosting. Curious about another reviewer who looked older, a job applicant, who didn't have his call returned. Frogslayer slung cliche pablum his way. Apparently they hire Jr. Devs but do they hire over a certain age? Do they know the law? Their Senior Dev is under 30 and was hired from being a student employee. Curious and curiouser. Maybe Frogslayer isn't as woke as they appear. Friend of mine went through the ringer with them was told they'd get feedback either way. Instead they got the standard blow off rejection after devoting way too much time on a company that might not value "employees over a certain age." Heads up Frogslayer. There are laws.
