      Some of the people who work there are racists, ageists and subscribe to cronyism. From Mitch the owner to the workers/assignment managers like Karen and Natalie. They are the worst. They don't care about their employees. They only care about their clients, period. I got injured on one of the jobs that they assigned me and these people suggested that I file for Medicaid and go to the hospital. No help or concern whatsoever. After that, I wasn't given any other assignments. I was told that there were no assignments available even though there were other employees who were getting two to three different assignments at a time - working from home,etc. If you are a minority, don't bother. If you get anything, it will be janitorial, regardless of whether you have a college degree or not. These people are horrible. Don't use them!!!

      The people that work at this Staffing Agency are the most useless, prejudice and unprofessional bunch out there. They lie to you to get you to register with them by promising you a lot of jobs and then once you register with them, they tell you nothing is available. I spent 12 months reaching out to them for assignments to no avail. All I got were lies. Obviously, they use your information to get more business, by getting more employers to sign up with them. They only give the good assignments to very few cronies, that’s it. Their minority recruitment is almost nonexistent. They are horrible and prejudiced from the Director(Karen, including her associates Natalie and Cindy) on down. They are a waste of time. Look elsewhere.

      Unprofessional. I was contacted by a woman named Avrl L. via text message regarding a position I applied for. She texted back LATE, which I thought was unusual, but I accepted meeting her on Teams the next morning. I took time out of my schedule, had the meeting, I thought it went well, she said she wanted to proceed with sending the company my resume, that she'd email me an application within 2 hours that I had to fill out "ASAP". I got nothing all day, I checked in, no response. She completely ghosted me. Why do people feel it's ok to waste applicants time like this?? Its cruel and heartless as some of us are truly looking for work. Don't like the candidate? Just say it, but dont give false hope and lie to our face, then blow us off. If I could give zero stars, I would.

      We have been with Wiss for about (11) years now, so I believe we know their firm fairly well.At the start, they immediately saved us a considerable amount of tax liability in Year 1 and moving forward over the years. As we are a global corporation with many subsidiaries, they also made some recommendations as far as restructuring to take advantage of other more technical issues.We primarily use Wiss for our annual general accounting audit, tax preparations and filings, and 401K audit. They also assist from time to time regarding international related issues. As with many companies, changes of personnel do occur from time to time, but they have always made these as seamless as possible.We have also experienced Federal and State audits, which they have also guided us thru from A to Z.In summary, we value Wiss as a partner with our company and have always experienced a very positive, professional and full service relationship.

      I used FirstBase last year to set up my company, and honestly, I can’t recommend them if you’re looking for real guidance. The whole process felt very automated, almost AI-generated, with minimal human support. Their replies are slow or nonexistent, and the help they provide is extremely limited, which makes it really hard, especially if you’re a beginner trying to figure things out.If your only goal is to technically open a company, then yes, they can do that. But beyond that, don’t expect much. For the price, I’m sure there are cheaper options that deliver the same (or even better) level of service.I wish I had gone with a provider that actually offers hands-on support and clear explanations, because FirstBase made an already overwhelming process feel even harder.

Back in 2019, they assured us that our taxes were filed. Fast forward to now, and we get a letter from the state saying our business taxes for 2019 were never filed! Apparently, they filed an extension for us without us even knowing, and not once did they ever inform us of this.What’s worse is that when I first called them two months ago to address this, they kept promising me that someone would call me back in five minutes, then ten minutes, and I’ve been waiting for months. No one knows what’s going on, no one takes responsibility, and no one has been able to answer a single question. The level of incompetence is honestly beyond belief.Then, my husband called them yesterday and spoke with Shah, who I can only assume is the owner. Shah was rude, disrespectful, and completely unhelpful. When my husband told him that Anwar had filed an extension, Shah’s response was "It’s 2025, you’re telling me this now?" instead of offering any assistance or even attempting to resolve the situation. Instead of apologizing or trying to help us, he was condescending, dismissive, and frankly, just rude. To top it off, Shah didn’t even know what was going on or why the extension was filed. He didn’t offer any solution, just rude comments about how late we were telling them about the issue – as if we would even know there was a problem if we hadn’t received a letter.This whole thing is absolutely attotachoious (yes, I’m inventing a word for how bad this is). How is this company even still in business? They clearly have no idea what they’re doing, and it’s infuriating that they haven’t taken any responsibility for their mistakes. If you decide to use their services, make sure you check and double-check that your taxes are actually filed. Just because they hand you a piece of paper doesn’t mean your taxes are actually filed with the state – and based on our experience, I wouldn’t trust them as far as I can throw them.This company has zero professionalism, no accountability, and frankly, I wouldn't trust them with a dime. I would advise everyone to steer clear of them. I have no idea what they’re doing under the table, but whatever it is, it’s certainly not taking care of their clients’ taxes.

      I started with 1800ACCT 8 months ago and now have paid them $6560.32. I've had 5 bookkeepers in this 8 months. When I schedule appointments no one calls me, I have to put in a ticket to get a call back. Book aren't correct to get my taxes completed. Was told no refund after 30 days, Per Tyler the subscription engagement manager. Best option is to continue to pay and let them figure out how to get books straight. UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS BEHAVIOR. The book keepers don't stay long enough to resolve any issue so I keep starting over and over with not resolution or completion of any task. They don't call to get clarification for what is what they just make assumptions is why my book aren't correct. Therefore without book correct I can't have my taxes prepared or completed, but an accountant/tax preparer is being paid. They refuse to REFUND. BBB Complaint was put int today 5/17/2024. Please see BBB for all their complaints. Stay Away from this company. Even with the tax preparer they wouldn't start until I got on them over and over, and when they did start they stated I needed to put in a request for tax extension, just to find out the book aren't correct. STAY WAY

      Takes absolutely forever. No one to follow up to make sure all members of your “team“ are moving as they should. You can’t just call and get somebody on the phone. You have to schedule a time with them which could sometimes be months only for them to tell you they’re missing paperwork, Or “I’m not sure that’s not my department” or in my case, oh your person is no longer with the company. I have to reassign you to a new person! I had two months of business tax paperwork to combine with my personal tax paperwork and here it is August 2025 and those are still not done!! As a new business owner, I thought I was doing the right thing by hiring a team because I knew I had no business messing around with any numbers, but I have been so stressed out and Creating more work for myself after hiring them, then I would have with any other company.
