Video Production Review from Bryce McPartland

We were referred to colormatics by our ad people at krem. We compared pricing and products of colormatics against a number of industry-specific marketing providers. Colormatics had the strongest portfolio and, surprisingly, offered exceptional pricing.Colormatics laid out a full shoot schedule which was pre-approved. They arrived on scene early one morning and traveled across central Washington to four separate locations to make an exceptionally tight yet comprehensive video about our firm. We began around 8 am and wrapped about 430 pm.Colormatics maintained excellent lines of communication including via email, text, cell and the video editing platform that they utilized. I always felt "in the loop" with them.

Video Production Review from Allison Grunthaner Gibicsar

Colormatics has been an outstanding partner in creating a huge amount of assets needed for our biggest product launch of 2023. This includes but is not limited to: social media videos, product videos, mattress cutaway visualizations, YouTube bumpers, edited b-roll, and more. The whole team is always willing to hop on the phone or quickly answer an email, with fast asset delivery and willingness to bring forth suggestions/solves outside of their scope.

Video Production Review from Ryan Throckmorton

Our team developed the idea of showcasing individuals who are making a positive impact online within their own communities. When we shared the concept with Colormatics, they immediately explored creative ways to bring it to life visually. They transformed our vision into a compelling visual narrative. The final piece blended live-action footage with motion graphics. We conducted interviews and also wanted to highlight the social media activity of these community members. Their profiles were used as a storytelling device, appearing almost like flashbacks, but animated in a way that made the content feel like it was unfolding in real time. We’re now experimenting with turning interview voiceovers into animated illustrations. We believe these could resonate even more on social platforms. The plan was to compare performance between the two video styles, and we’re looking forward to testing them soon.

What kind of ROI can I expect from working with a digital agency?

Key ROI benchmarks by channel:

  • SEO: A well-executed thought leadership SEO campaign delivers an average ROI of 748%over 3 years, with industries like real estate achieving up to 1,389% ROI. Positive ROI is typically achieved in 6-12 months, according to First Page Sage.
  • PPC/Paid Search: Returns approximately $2 for every $1 spent (200% ROI) when correctly optimized, according to WordStream.

Do these companies specialize in specific industries?

Yes, many digital companies focus on specific verticals to deliver deeper expertise and faster results.

Common specializations include:

  • SaaS & Technology: Agencies understand freemium models, product-led growth, and long sales cycles
  • eCommerce & DTC: Specialists in Shopify, conversion optimization, and lifecycle marketing
  • Healthcare & Life Sciences: Agencies navigate HIPAA compliance and FDA regulations
  • Financial Services & Fintech: Expertise in regulatory requirements and trust-building content
  • B2B Services: Focus on lead generation, account-based marketing, and long buying cycles
  • Consumer Brands (CPG): Experience with retail distribution, influencer marketing, and brand awareness

Industry specialization matters because:

  • Compliance requirements vary dramatically (healthcare, finance, legal)
  • Customer acquisition costs differ significantly by vertical; B2B SaaS typically incurs much higher CAC than eCommerce
  • Buying cycles range from impulse purchases (DTC) to 6-18 month enterprise sales (B2B)
  • Messaging and positioning require a nuanced understanding of buyer personas
