If you are the type of person to question and challenge your partners, Deksia is not a good fit for you. I identified a weakness in Deksia's business which they thought was strong and I was treated like I was crazy. I did recieve an apology for my mistreatment of and the gross mismanagement of my account. The fact remains that I was upsold on digital marketing while Deksia had no competent staff to manage my search engine marketing (SEM). In the 6 months we worked together they neglected to verify my google account, they neglected to connect my google tag (so there was no way to optimize) and they reported bad data to make themselves look good. For the entire time I was paying them (and google!) they had my brand name in every search term. This went on for over 6 months! Why didn't I catch it sooner? Because I had a baby. I had trusted them to take care of SEM so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Once I was out of my postpartum haze and I was able to look under the hood. I found that over 85% of their reported sales were attributed to my hard earned organic reach. And yet they would self congratulate themselves and ask me to raise my SEM budget. When I revealed this to them they tried every gaslighting technique in the book. They took advantage of my trust in them. Their marketing VP even asked why they should spend time doing a postmortem of their mistakes when they could be spending time "making me more money". How can you move on and improve if you never examine your mistakes? Even getting them to admit they made all these errors took me hiring a 3rd party to generate reports and attribution models so we could uncover the truth of Deksia's performance or in this case lack thereof. There was no effort to make things better even after I had spent 6 figures with them on various projects. Instead I was billed for another 2 months after ending the relationship because it was in our contract. If you are signing a contract with them- take that part OUT! I had to pay them for doing nothing while I was paying someone else to fix the mess they made.Adam Bird is the glue holding this house of cards together and the only reason I do not completely regret working with Deksia. I came to them to elevate my brand, Swaddelini. Adam did a phenomenal job unveiling the DNA of the brand and giving me a deeper understanding of my customer. Shelly is also very talented. She took the direction from Adam to create brand messaging and imagery that did exactly what I wanted it to do. Deksia has strong creative talent that can deliver a good product; unfortunately, they lack the technical expertise to bring it home and they lack the leadership to build long lasting customer relationships.

I took my son to Hetal at Talk Out Loud following his 18 month pediatrician appointment and knowing he was behind in speech. After 5 months, we have graduated from speech and so happy with our experience. We went once a week for 30 minutes and Hetal really focused on where he was at and helping us with tools and practices that we should dive into with him at home to set him up for success. All the words and sign he started using first were everything he learned at Talk Out Loud. People say that speech can come with time but I knew if we had professional support helping guide us on how to better parent and really tailor it to our sons current needs would be important. I appreciate Hetal for acknowledging when our Son had hit his milestone and feeling like we were at a good spot to stop seeing her too. We could have kept going and paying and I think it’s a testament to her practice for knowing when the time was right for him to graduate and being honest about it! We will continue to see how he progresses into year 2 and have a plan with her for if he needs to come back when and why that would be! Would absolutely recommend!

We have been so pleased with the staff at Talk Out Loud and how they have helped our daughter with severe autism and DS communicate. The owner Hetal has worked extensively with our daughter to expand her oral vocabulary beyond nouns to verbs. She has also helped us master the AAC device our daughter uses as well. She knows how to navigate our daughter’s many moods and meets her where she is, even doing sessions in the hallway if my daughter refuses to budge from her spot. We love how she uses photos of our daughter doing various activities to personalize the lessons and help her make the connections. We highly recommend Hetal and her staff.

I have been taking my son to Talk Out Loud for over two years. We started with feeding therapy and then transitioned to speech. Hetal has been an amazing and understanding provider for my son. She is very supportive and helped me through my son's diagnoses and answered so many of my questions. She really listens and got to know my son very well. He feels very comfortable with not only her, but the other therapists who have worked with him through Talk Out Loud. I appreciate the flexibility they have provided when I've had to cancel or reschedule last minute. The therapists have coordinated well with his other treatment providers and school. We always recommend Talk Out Loud when someone is looking for a local SLP. They are the best!
