Product Design Review from Manuel Colom

Working with ANML on the Yummly app experience and the Yummly Smart Thermometer (IoT) was an outstanding collaboration. Yummly combined personalized recipe discovery, meal planning, and guided cooking into a highly curated food experience, while the Smart Thermometer extended that ecosystem into connected cooking with real-time temperature tracking and assisted preparation workflows. As Director of UX at Yummly, I worked closely with ANML throughout both initiatives, and they operated almost as a seamless extension of our internal design team. Their work consistently demonstrated excellent design craft, strong product thinking, and a highly collaborative mindset. Beyond delivering high-quality UX and visual design, their contribution helped sharpen and strengthen the overall value proposition of the products by making complex cooking experiences feel approachable, premium, and intuitive for users.

Web Design Review from Nathan Thornburgh

As Anthony Bourdain's partners, we were approached by CNN to create an immersive digital site that would provide a beautiful home for each destination covered by Bourdain's show Parts Unknown. It was a huge task not least because there were already close to 100 destinations to integrate into a usable global site. But also because the site was meant to live up to the beauty and aesthetic of the television program. And it needed to be done in a way that satisfied both our mainstream luxury advertisers (like LandRover, ANA, and more) but also the famously high standards of Bourdain himself. ANML engaged in this 18-month design and build process with outstanding workmanship and creative decision-making. They navigated wildly different and demanding stakeholders. And in the end they built a site that still looks fresh even nearly a decade later. If you want to make lasting work, there is no one else I could recommend more.

Web Design Review from Alex Lacerda

We partnered with ANML to evolve our digital experience in a way that stayed true to our brand while modernizing how we present our products and story. As a company with a long history in music, it was important to find a partner who could respect that legacy while helping us move forward. ANML took the time to understand our brand, our audience, and the role our products play for musicians. They built on our existing foundation and translated it into a more cohesive and intuitive experience that better reflects who we are today. Their team brought strong thinking across UX and design, helping us improve how content is structured, how products are presented, and how users navigate the experience. The collaboration was smooth and highly responsive throughout. The end result is a more polished and modern experience that still feels authentic to our brand. ANML was a thoughtful and reliable partner, and we would highly recommend them.

I had the pleasure of working with RNO1 on a web transformation project in CalypsoAI and couldn't be happier. Right from the start, it was clear that they had a very skilled workforce, that had data architects as well as UX designers on board. They gave us a first implementation of your platform to work before your deadline and this demonstrates that they are conscious of time and the quality they want to offer. The look and feel design talents of RN01 are on par with the finest User Interface design and UX skills, moreover, the backend programming is also excellent. Most noticeable was their ability to fit into our working environment and improve the efficiency of our team while advancing the projects. Well done and organized they ensured the entire period was smooth and productive. As for web design and CMS development, I have no reservations in recommending RN01. They can really be considered as an innovation partner.

Most of the glowing reviews here don’t seem to be from real clients. My experience was the opposite. This company is grossly incompetent. They charged high fees but delivered sub-par work, riddled with delays and headaches that continued even after the contract ended. They were hired to design a web app, but the end product was so poor that I had to bring in engineers to fix the mess they left behind. There were issues at every stage of the project, from design to deployment. What stings the most is that I was the one who recommended them to my team because a friend knew the owner. I deeply regret that recommendation. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that the team, Lanre especially, were at least cooperative — but cooperation is pointless (and frankly annoying) when the work is fundamentally flawed. My advice: stick to using them only for basic website creation, and hire a skilled freelancer for more advanced projects. My advice to Chisom: It’s unfortunate that our experience turned out so poorly, because your company is a great concept with a lot of potential. Protect the brand you’ve worked so hard to build — the sweat and tears show — by investing in skilled engineers and raising delivery standards. Otherwise, you risk frustrated clients, avoidable disputes, and damage to the reputation you’ve worked to establish.

NAVA Design did my brand identity for SkySafe Aviation and it came out way better than I expected. Being a flight instructor, I wanted something that felt serious and trustworthy but not stiff or corporate, and they got that balance right. The logo alone changed how my materials look, I've had students and other pilots comment on how professional everything looks now. Yashar took the time to actually understand what I was building before he started designing anything, and you can tell in the final result. Communication was easy through the whole process and revisions were quick whenever I needed something changed. If you're in aviation, or honestly any field where first impressions matter, I'd recommend him without hesitation.

My favorite dish Pad Thai is delicious. Best appetizer is Crab Rangoon. The Larb, Crab fried rice and the curries are amazing too. Big shout out to the waitress. Frequently Asked Questions

What is a corporate branding agency?

A corporate branding agency is a specialized agency that delves deeper into the complexities and challenges of branding for large-scale corporations, going beyond the scope of a traditional branding agency. It partners with professionals who work together to create strong brand narratives, enabling the company to distinguish itself from its competitors and convey its values and visions to its intended audience.

Corporate branding agencies recognize that a brand is more than simply logos and taglines; it's a combination of pictures, words, and sentiments that distinguishes a company. They ensure the brand lines up with an organization’s goals and tackles big challenges, whether it's going global or handling mergers. Through design, strategy, and clear communication, they shape a brand that builds trust and puts a company at the forefront of its field.

Strong branding is essential in today’s overcrowded market, as consistent brand presentation can increase revenue by up to 33%. Visual design is particularly impactful, as color increases brand recognition by up to 80%.

Success Story

While numbers highlight the impact of strategic corporate branding, the following case study further demonstrates how professional agencies can enhance businesses’ visibility.

  • Challenge: Broadview Federal Credit Union was formed from the merger of SEFCU and CAP COM. Both organizations had strong synergies, but their legacy names no longer accurately reflected their expanded memberships. They needed a new, unified brand to align with their mission and future direction.
  • Solution: Tenet Partners developed a comprehensive branding strategy rooted in extensive market research, interviews, and analysis. The new brand, Broadview, was built around shared values of member-centric service, fairness, and forward-thinking technology. The visual identity and messaging emphasized human-centric service, community involvement, and technological innovation. Tenet also oversaw the brand roll-out, from signage to web adaptations, for a seamless public transition.
  • Results: The strategic rebranding positioned Broadview as a dominant player in the financial services sector. It built the foundation for long-term growth and increased market presence. The brand resonated with its members and the broader community to reflect the credit union’s mission, culture, and focus on the future.

What is a corporate branding strategy?

A corporate branding strategy is a long-term plan that outlines how a corporation will establish and maintain its identity, values, and reputation in the market. This strategy serves as a blueprint for all branding activities and decisions, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, values, and business goals.

The elements of corporate branding strategy include:

  • Brand positioning
How the brand will be perceived in relation to competitors.
  • Target audience
Identifying the key stakeholders the brand aims to reach, such as customers, investors, and employees.
  • Brand voice and messaging
Establishing the tone and key messages that will be used in all communication touchpoints.
  • Long-term goals
Setting measurable objectives for brand awareness, equity, and loyalty.
  • Monitoring and evaluation metrics
Criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the branding efforts.
  • Budget and resource allocation
Determining the financial and human resources needed to implement the strategy.
  • Timeline
A schedule for when different elements of the strategy will be implemented.

The corporate branding strategy is the foundation upon which all corporate branding services and activities are built. It ensures that all efforts are cohesive, targeted, and effective in building a strong, sustainable brand identity.

For instance, Apple's "Think Different" mantra is a cornerstone in its corporate branding strategy, effectively positioning the company as an innovator in the technology industry. This strategic messaging is complemented by Apple's focus on user-friendly product design, emphasizing the importance of a satisfying user experience. The iconic 1984 commercial further showcases Apple's advertising and media production prowess, setting it apart from competitors. Apple's commitment to customer service also shapes its brand reputation, creating strong customer relationships.

By integrating these diverse elements — clear messaging, product design, impactful advertising, and customer service — Apple has successfully built a unified and compelling brand story.

Why do businesses use corporate branding?

Businesses use corporate branding to establish a consistent identity that differentiates them in the market, fosters customer loyalty, and drives business growth. A well-executed corporate branding strategy does more than just create a memorable logo or tagline; it builds a comprehensive brand experience that resonates with customers, investors, and employees alike.

Unified brand image helps in:

  • Global consistency
A cohesive corporate brand ensures that the company is consistently represented across various countries and cultures, which is crucial for multinational corporations that operate in diverse markets.
  • Stakeholder engagement

What is the difference between corporate marketing and corporate branding agencies?

Corporate marketing and corporate branding agencies differ in their focus and objectives. Corporate marketing agencies promote a corporation's products or services and are frequently focused on accomplishing short-term goals such as increasing sales or market share.

On the other hand, corporate branding agencies delve into the essence of the business to build a cohesive and enduring brand identity. They work on long-term strategies aligning with the company's mission, values, and vision, focusing on brand identity and stakeholder engagement.

Simply put, corporate marketing agencies are tactical and aim to drive immediate business results through various promotional activities. Meanwhile, corporate branding agencies are strategic, aiming to build a sustainable brand that fosters long-term relationships with various stakeholders.
